  1. Job Title:Manager , Admin, Logistics & Corporate Affairs [Level 4 Staff]
  2. Primary Reporting Authority:Director, HR & Finance [Level 3 Staff]
  3. Staff who will report to:
  4. Admin and Logistics Specialist
  5. Deliverables:
  6. Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for officials under him
  7. Monthly/Quarterly/Annual Activity Report
  8. Presentations/Reports/Letters or any other activities as assigned by Superiors from time to time
  9. Annual appraisal of staffs under him/her
  10. Service delivery as per functional responsibilities
  11. Functional Responsibilities
  • Work under the guidance of Director (HR & Finance) and provide secretarial support to CEO.
  • Maintain all documents related to BdREN Trust
  • Responsible for all affairs related to Trust management
  • Undertake administrative and logistics activities for BdREN employees.
  • Oversee day-to-day administration activities.
  • Coordinate officials under him and train them for delivering services efficiently.
  • To provide assistance in coordinating administrative and technical programs like organizing meeting, seminar, workshop and other similar programs.
  • Manage store of procured stationeries/ goods/equipment.
  • Prepare agenda (working papers), minutes and relevant documents.
  • Assist key staffs of Bangladesh Research and Education Network (BdREN) in delivering services.
  • Perform other duties that may be assigned by Director (HR & Finance).

  2. Educational Qualification:
  3. Master’s Degree in any discipline preferably in Business Administration/Management/Public Administration
  4. 3rd class at any level/CGPA less than 3.0 will not be accepted
  5. Knowledge and Skill:
  6. Good communication skills
  7. Ability to encourage and motivate workforce under the incumbent
  8. Working and Decision Making capability under stressed condition
  9. Computer literacy in Bangla and English with experience in handling other office communication equipment.
  10. Efficiency in drafting official documents in English and Bangla
  11. Experience: Minimum 5 years working experience in office management/administration preferably in IT-related/ Not-for-profit organization
  12. Language proficiency: English and Bengali (Reading, Writing and Speaking)
  13. Code of Conduct:
  14. Compliance to Contract Clauses
  15. Compliance to Service Rules
  16. Compliance to all Office Orders issued from time to time provided it is not directly in conflict with the contract
  17. Compliance to all Policies already drafted or to be drafted
  18. Working Hours:
  19. Usual office hours from 9am-5pm, 5 days a week.
  20. 7 x 24 availability on emergency
  21. Changeable through Office Order
  22. Additional Requirement:
  23. Travel: Willingness to travel throughout the country for official requirement.
  24. Mobile: Should be available 7 x 24 over voice and SMS
  25. Internet: Should be available 7 x 24 over email
  26. Type of Service: The estimated duration of the assignment is 24 person months. The expected commencement of the assignment is 1st January, 2017. However, the duration of the assignment may be increased or decreased according to the requirement of the BdREN component of the project and performance of the incumbent which will be reviewed on yearly basis. The ToR would be considered as provisional and will be superseded by a revised ToR approved by the BdREN Trust.
