A Bill to Boost the US Economy #1

Section one, Corporations which outsource manufacturing jobs will be automatically disqualified from tax breaks and fined a percent damage tax per factory. Retailors that sell exclusively made in The U.S.A. products in all retail locations will be given a one percent tax break.

Section two, Corporation’s will be barred from importing foreign workers for jobs that do not require either knowledge of the workers native culture, or fluency in the workers native language.

Any corporation found to be hiring unapproved workers will be fined sixty thousand per unapproved worker.
Corporations will be permitted to safe locations not located in the USA with non-citizens.

Section Three, all military uniforms, weapons, ships, submarines, boats, medical supply, cars, tanks, technology must be made within

The businesses that takes on these tasks will be given a three percent tax break and permission to use it as an advertising device.

Section Four, All foreign made products will be required to have their country of originprominently displayed.

Those that fail to comply will be considered guilty of false advertising and fined a minimum of thirty thousand.

A Bill to Drug Test Federal Welfare Recipients #2

Section One: All federal welfare recipients will be subject to random drug testing.
Section Two: A randomly selected selected 25 percent of federal welfare
recipients, excluding social security recipients, shall be drug tested at random
dates.
Section Three: If the welfare recipient fails his or her drug test, a follow up blood
test will be immediately administered to confirm the original results.
Section Four: Anyone failing the drug test will be responsible for paying the costs
of the drug testing. In addition, welfare benefits will be immediately revoked for
anyone failing the drug tests.
Section Five: The welfare benefits may continue if the welfare recipient who has
failed a drug test agrees to participate in and complete a federally certified drug
rehabilitation program. Otherwise, the welfare benefits will be renewed after one
year of probation in which drug tests will continue to be administered at random
dates.
Section Six: This act shall go into effect six months from passage.

Somerset Area School District

A Bill to Help Ensure Loving Homes for Children #3

Whereas, as found by the Child Welfare Agency over one hundred thousand (+100,000) American children who are under sixteen need homes, those over sixteen were not counted

Whereas, as these children are citizens of the United States of America it is literally our job to put their welfare over that of the citizens of other nations, and as there are multiple counts of adopted children from third world or oppressive, by the adopter’s slandered, countries being abducted from their parents in order to be sold as “cute little orphan in need of help” it is our duty as human beings to prevent such an atrocity.

Whereas, in order to help insure these innocent children find (or keep) loving homes, adoption of foreign children with the exception of taking in provably related using both legal documents and genetic testing, paid for by the adopters, underage family will be banned

Whereas, all attempted perpetrators, those who attempted to adopt a child but were stopped before the paperwork could be completed will be tried as an accomplice to human trafficking and all successful perpetrators, those who succeeded, those where the paper work was completed, will be sentenced no different than human traffickers and with no options for a sentence less than theallowed minimum

Whereas, all Americans found to have knowingly aided the adoption and transport of the child will be treated as human traffickers.

Whereas, in the event the child arrived in the United States they will not be allowed to testify and be deported as soon as possible

Whereas, in the event the child was abducted their original country will be alerted and given all information necessary to investigate and the child returned to their parents

A Bill to Increase Voter Turn Out #4

Whereas, for every election all businesses will be required to provide employs
who are eligible to vote with directions to the nearest voting station and a reasonable amount of time to vote

Whereas, do to their only being one vote per person each employ will only be
guaranteed one break per election they are eligible to vote in

Whereas, a reasonable amount of time will be defined as the maximum amount of time it would take considering traffic, distance to the voting station, wait time to vote, and any anomalies such as closed roads that would increase time.

Whereas, to ensure that this legislation is not abused all voting stations will berequired to provide documents recording the year date and time of voting proving that a person voted in that election with a space requiring theirlegal signature. The amount of people deemed necessary will stand nearthe voting apparatus and offer the proof of voting documents to those they see exiting the apparatus.

Whereas, business may use these documents to keep track of what elections an employee has voted in and deny breaks for elections that it was recorded that they already voted in. Businesses will be permitted to require proof of voting documents from employees on their return from the break and may form their own guidelines regarding an event that such a document cannotbe provided

Whereas, these proof of voting documents will be illegal to duplicate and falsifying a signature will be considered voter fraud. Businesses found to have falsified such documents will be investigated with all those involved in falsified the documents arrested for voter fraud and the company fined a minimum of three hundred thousand and permitted to fire the guilty employees with no repercussions.

Therefore let it be resolved that all businesses be required to provide their eligible to vote employees adequate time to vote

A Bill to Protect Innocent Children from Abuse #5

Whereas, legal guardians that are found guilty of taking illegal substances will be considered unfit to parent and have custody removed and barred from having unsupervised and/or unauthorized contact with the minor or minors.

Whereas, those found guilty of domestic abuse, murder, and/or rape will have parental rights revoked and be barred from having any contact with the minor or minors removed from their custody if they are a legal guardian at the time. Those found guilty of the aforementioned will also be banned from having parental rights or guardian ship over any minors in the future regardless of genetic relation to the minor.

Whereas, Legal guardians that teach their ward or wards from home will be required to attend a seminar on teaching, prove a basic understanding of all core subjects, and submit to random inspections to ensure no abuse takes place.

Therefore let it be Resolved, that for the sake of protecting minors this bill be passed in to law.

A Bill to Put America to Work #6

1 BE IT ENACTED BY THE CONGRESS HERE ASSEMBLED THAT:

2 SECTION 1. The United States shall allocate 500 billion dollars towards

3 a new jobs program.

4 SECTION 2. This new jobs program will be referred to as ‘AmWorks’ 5 and will aim to put 17 million unemployed Americans back

6 to work.

7 SECTION 3. The Department of Labor along with the Department of

8 Transportation will oversee the distribution of the budget

9 A. In order to stimulate jobs, companies that hire employees

10 in result of this program will receive federal subsidies

11 proportional to the amount of workers they hire.

12 B. Half of the budget will exclusively be for the creation of

13 infrastructure and infrastructure jobs.

14 C. This budget will be evenly distributed over the course of

15 the next 10 years.

16 SECTION 4. This bill will be implemented June 1, 2016.

17 SECTION 5. All laws in conflict with this legislation are hereby declared 18 null and void.

McDowell High School

A Resolution to Encourage Skin Care in Low Income Areas #7

1WHEREAS skin care is severely lacking in low income areas
2WHEREAS the average 6 oz bottle of sunscreen costs $9.98
3WHEREAS low income families are struggling to put food on the table, not
4to mention protect their skin.
5WHEREAS if sunscreen was cheaper low income families would use it
6 more, decreasing risk throughout the lands.
7WHEREAS using soap or hand sanitizer decreases one’s chance of
8 contracting the common cold.
9WHEREAS low income families are often not be able to pay medical bills
10stemming from complications due to sunburn and illnesses.
11THEREFORE be it resolved by the Congress here assembled that
12sunscreen and soap be added to the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance
13Program (SNAP) program beginning January 1.
14BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT the SNAP program shall be renamed
15the Supplemental Nutrition and Skin Care Assistance Program (SNASCAP).

A Resolution to Make English the Official Language of America #8

1WHEREAS speaking English proficiently is a necessity in today’s America.

2WHEREAS a common language encourages unity and putting aside

3differences as a nation.

4WHEREAS a common language encourages immigrants to assimilate into

5American culture so they can share the economic, social, and political gains

6of our great nation.

7WHEREAS according to the United States Office of Management and

8Budget, billions are spent every year to provide translation and interpreter

9services in order to conduct government business in multiple languages

10WHEREAS several states have already declared English as their official

11language, including Arizona, Idaho, Kansas, and Oklahoma.

12THEREFORE be it resolved by the Student Congress here assembled that

13English be declared the official language of the United States of America.

A Bill to Ban E-Cigarette Advertising on Television #9

1 BE IT ENACTED by this Congress assembled that:

2 Section 1 E-cigarettes contain dangerous nicotine.

3 Section 2. Many states do not have an age requirement to purchase 4 E-cigarettes.

5 Section 3 As of January 1, 2015, only 15 states have a state-wide

6 regulation of the use of E-cigarettes.

7 Section 4 Studies are showing a yearly doubling of the use of

8 E-cigarettes to tweens and teens.

9 Section 5 E-cigarette television advertising (including product placement

10 in programs) imply safeness as well as “cool to smoke” factors.

11 Section 6 E-cigarette television advertising and program product

12 placement be banned beginning June 1, 2016.

13 Section 7 All laws in conflict with this legislation are hereby declared

14 null and void.

A Resolution to Pool Funds for Education #10

1 Whereas, currently, the property tax directly affects a school’s funding;

2 Whereas, the amount of school funding relates to the quality of a

3 student’s education;

4 Whereas, if the money from the property tax is pooled from all districts

5 and divided by the number of students, then each school will be equally

6 funded per student enrolled;

7 Whereas, when schools are equally financed, then each student will

8 have the same opportunity for their education;

9 Therefore, let it be resolved by the Student Congress here

10 assembled that the money from property taxes be pooled and divided

11 by the number of students enrolled to ensure an equal chance at a full

12 education.

Lakeview Christian Academy

A Resolution to Approve the Building of a Fence Between the United States and Mexico

#11

1 Whereas, There are over 11 million undocumented immigrants from

2 Mexico living in the United States; and

3 Whereas, Protecting the border between America and Mexico with a

4 reinforced fence would lower the amount of illegal

5 trespassing; and

6 Whereas, Building the 1,951 mile-long fence would create hundreds of 7 jobs that would be permanent for Americans; and

8 Whereas, This project will follow the design identified by the 2006

9 Secure Fence Act, but with technological updates where

10 needed; now,therefore, be it

11 Resolved, That the Congress here assembled will approve the building

12 of a fence that will separate the border of the United States

13 of America and Mexico to lower the amount of illegal

14 immigrants from Mexico and provide jobs for American

15 citizens.

A Resolution to Require Gender Neutral Bathrooms #12

1 Whereas, the trans* community is increasing; and

2 Whereas, there is increasing violence against trans* people; and

3 Whereas,trans* individuals need areas where they can feel safe; now, therefore,

4 BE IT RESOLVED, by this Congress here assembled, that gender

5 neutral bathrooms shall be required in public establishments with public 6 bathrooms.

E.L. Meyers High School

A Resolution to Increase Education in Lower Income Communities #13

1 WHEREAS: In the United States, there are 1.3 million students dropping

2 out of school in the United States and

3 WHEREAS: In the United States, low-income students fail to graduate at

4 five times the rate of middle income families and

5 WHEREAS: Students who come from low-income families are 7-times

6 more likely to drop out of school than students who come from

7 families with higher incomes.

8 WHEREAS: For the minimum-wage earner with a family of four, a full

9 time paycheck falls almost $9,000 below the poverty line and

10 in many of those families, children need to work to help

11 provide for the family, and

12 WHEREAS: Work hours keep students from being able to focus on their

13 school work

14 THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THIS CONGRESS HERE

15 ASSEMBLED THAT the national minimum wage be increased so that

16 families can better support themselves, and children can focus on their

17 educations, not earning money.

North Allegheny High School

An Act to Increase the Full Social Security Retirement Age from 67 to 68 & to increase the early Social Security Collection Age from 62 to 64 #14

BE IT ENACTED BY THIS STUDENT CONGRESS

1 Preamble: Whereas over 61.9 million people receive Social Security

2 benefits totaling about $863 billion, which accounts for 20% of all

3 government spending, and since the Social Security fund is predicted to

4 be depleted by the year 2033 if the program continues unchanged, and

5 since the current plan to modify Social Security will increase the average

6 age of retirement to 67 without raising the minimum retirement age at all.

8 SECTION 1. The minimum retirement age at which one can begin to

9 receive Social Security benefits shall be gradually

10 increased by the year 2030.

12 SECTION 2. The increase will occur in increments of 1 month and 19

13 days per year so that the age is raised uniformly.

15 SECTION 3. The full retirement age, which under current law will rise to

16 67 by 2022, will be raised to 68 by 2030.

18 SECTION 4. This increase will occur in increments of 1 month and 16

19 days per year from 2022 to 2030.

21 SECTION 5. This bill shall go into effect 91 days after passage.
