2016/17 HAIG SCHOOL SUPPLY LIST - Grade 6 - Mrs. Anderson

Please label each individual article with student name and sharpen all pencils prior to the first day (including each crayon and marker). Please feel free to reuse supplies that are still in great condition from last year-no need in buying new.

·  20 Dixon or Venus HB pencils

·  2 red marking pens

·  4 good quality blue pens

·  1 black Sharpie marker

·  1 pkg. of pencil crayons (24’s)

·  1 pkg. of crayons

·  1 pkg. markers

·  2 white board markers

·  3 hi-liters (different colours)

·  1 old sock (for a whiteboard eraser)

·  1 small pencil sharpener

·  2 large glue sticks

·  4 erasers

·  3 duotangs (French, Music, PE)

·  2 LARGE pencil cases

·  2 pkgs. loose leaf paper (300 sheets)

·  1 pair of scissors

·  1 large Ziploc bag

·  2 small Ziploc bags

·  4 pkgs. 4 pack subject dividers

·  2 pkg. 3x3 sticky notes

·  1 pkg. of 4x6 sticky notes

·  1 Scotch Tape

·  1 Geometry set

·  2 correction tape or bottles of white out

·  2 boxes of Kleenex – not lotion kind

·  1 stick of deodorant to keep at school for Phys. Ed.

·  1 change of clothes for Phys-Ed.

·  1 set of headphones for computer lab – any type

·  1 2GB flash drive with ALL space available

·  1 Recorder – Altos Brand – from MC Music Craft – these are much more durable than ones purchased at WalMart or Dollarama.

·  1 pair of runners with NON-MARKING soles to be left at school for Phys-Ed. use only. The gym floor requires NON-MARKING AND NO BLACK SOLES.

·  2 Hilroy or Mead 40-page notebook (for journal)

·  3 Avery 2” binders (Math, Social, Science, Health, ELA, and Portfolio)

·  1 backpack or book bag
