BLIND MURDER SOLVED

Staff of Police Station Moti Nagar, West District has apprehended three juveniles who committed the murder of a 46 year old person on 22.1.14 at the Railway line Prem Nagar Phatak near Railway Godown Zakhira New Delhi around 8.30 PM. A case FIR No. 52/14 u/s 302 IPC PS Moti Nagar was registered in this regard.

RECOVERY

One knife used in committing the crime.

Ear phone/lead of the robbed mobile phone.

INFORMATION AND OPERATION

On 22.1.14, an information was received at P.S. Moti Nagar that an injured person is lying near Railway Godown Zakhira, Prem Nagar Phatak. The dead body of a male age about 46 years was found lying in a pool of blood. Deceased was later identified as Dhirender Kumar S/o Late Ram Lakhan R/o 2087/9B, Gali No. 20 Prem Nagar, Patel Nagar New Delhi. A case vide FIR No. 52/14 u/s 302 IPC was registered in PS Moti Nagar after postmortem of the deceased. As the motive was not clear and no eye witness was found, all the staff of Police Station Moti Nagar was detailed to ascertain the identity of the criminals and special team led by Inspr. Shalender Tomar SHO/Moti Nagar, Inspr. Ramesh Kalsan Investigation Moti Nagar, HC Mahesh Dutt, Ct Amit Kumar under the overall supervision of Sh. Eish Singhal IPS, ACP/Rajouri garden was constituted.

During the course of investigation, a number of suspects, workers and persons of the area were interrogated and sources were deployed. Finally it came to notice that the crime was committed by three youth who used to inhale the smell of fluid. After persisting efforts three juveniles of age 14, 15 years were apprehended, who confessed to have committed the crime.

INTERROGATION AND MODUS OPERANDI

During interrogation it was revealed that all the three juvenile are addicted to smelling the fluid and used to commit petty theft on Railway tracks and nearby areas. On 22.1.14 they all were present on the Railway track near Zakhira, Prem Nagar Railway Phatak and were inhaling smell of fluid. At about 8.30 PM they saw the victim coming from Rama Road Moti Nagar industrial Area side. On seeing him all three hatched a conspiracy to rob him as he was having mobile in his hand and was listening to songs by using earphones/lead. They further disclosed that when the deceased reached near them, they stopped him and demanded his valuables. The victim resisted. Then two of the juveniles overpowered him and third one stabbed him. After that all three fled away by taking the mobile phone along with lead. The weapon of offence and lead of the mobile have been recovered.

The staff involved in good work is being rewarded suitably.

LIQUOR SUPPLIERS ARRESTED

The staff of Police Station Mayapuri, West District has arrested two Bootleggers namelyRavindra and Sureshand recovered 1536 (288 Ltr.) Quarters of illicit Country made liquor and Lancer Sedan car No. DL 4CP 8478.

NAME & PROFILE OF ACCUSED ARRESTED

1. Ravindra S/o Bazir R/o Village- Dulehada, PS- Bahadurgarh, Distt. Jhajjar, Haryana, age - 29 Years.

2. Suresh S/O Om Prakash R/O Village- Bajhera, PS- Palam Vihar, Gurgaon, Haryana, age- 30 Years.

RECOVERY

1)32 cases of country made liquor, each consisting of 48 quarters of 180 ML each, for sale in Haryana only.

2)Lancer Sedan Car No. DL 4CP 8478.

INCIDENT, TEAM AND ARREST

On 06.02.14, a secret information was received that one Lancer car No. DL 4CP 8478, grey color carrying illicit liquor in huge quantity will pass through Janakpuri Pankha RoadDelhi. On this information a team consisting of ASI Pradeep Rathi, ASI Ram Prasad, Ct. Naresh, Ct. Abdul and Ct. Ghan Shyam of PS Mayapuri was constituted under the supervision of SHO Mayapuri and a trap was laid near Red Light Janakpuri Pankha Road and at around 6.35 AM the said car was stopped and on checking 32 cases of country made liquor, each consisting of 48 quarters of 180 ML each, for sale in Haryana only, were recovered. The car was being driven by Ravindra and co-occupant was Suresh. On this a case vide FIR No. 64/14, dated 06.02.2014, u/s 33/38 Delhi Excise Act. was registered at PS Mayapuri. Accused persons namely Ravindra and Suresh have been arrested and are in Judicial Custody.

INTERROGATION

On Sustained interrogation of accused persons it was revealed that Ravindra and Suresh are paid 2000/- rupees a trip by one supplier Sonu @ Doctor s/o Rajbir R/O Village Kanauda, Bahadurgarh, Haryana. Sonu is linked with one Dalbir of Bahadurgarh who is a known liquor contractor of Haryana and holds contract of liquor vends of Jhajjar and Rohatak Districts of Haryana. This liquor from Haryana is smuggled into Delhi through unemployed youths in different vehicles during wee hours. This liquor is supplied to Bootleggers of Delhi at cheaper rates, as this liquor from Haryana is without excise paid. This delivery was to be handed over to a person decided by Sonu near Ashram Chowk DND Fly Over who in turn would have supplied it to small Bootleggers of the adjoining areas. Further investigation to establish roles of supplier Sonu and Dalbir is being carried out.

Further investigation of the case is in progress. The addresses of the absconding accused persons are being verified and there mobile phones are being monitored technically.

ELEVEN GIRLS INCLUDING ONE MINOR RESCUED FROM BROTHEL AT G.B.ROAD : KOTHA MANAGER ARRESTED

On 07.02.2014, eleven females including one minor girl were rescued from GB Road by the police of P.S. Kamla Market, Central District, Delhi.

INCIDENT

On 07/02/14, an information was received at Police Station Kamla Market that there is a minor girl at Kotha No-64, IIIrd floor, GB Road who has been forced into prostitution and if raid is conducted, she along with several other girls could be rescued. On this, a police team comprising of Inpsr. Yashvir Singh, SHO/Kamla Market, SI Ramesh Chand, HC Chander Mani, Ct. Dara Singh and W/Ct. Madhu was constituted under the close supervision of Mrs. Shweta Chauhan, ACP/Kamla Market.

A raid was immediately conducted at Kotha No. 64, IIIrd Floor, GB Road and eleven girls including one minor were rescued. Out of these girls, two girls belong to Nepal, five girls from Karnatka, three girls from Andhra and one from Maharashtra. Further enquiry was conducted and on the statement of the victim, a case vide FIR No. 39/14 u/s was registered at P.S. Kamla Market.

INVESTIGATION

During investigation, it was revealed that all the rescued girls, belong to poor families and they were lured on the pretext of providing them good employment in Delhi. They were subsequently brought toDelhi and sold to one woman, manager of a Kotha, GB Road, Delhi, who forced them in prostitution. They were not allowed to go outside and were restrained at that Kotha itself. Manager, aged about 32 years has been arrested by the police in this case. They are being produced before CWC, Delhi for taking further course of legal action and their rehabilitation.

Further investigation / interrogation is in progress. Efforts are on to trace the person who brought them to Delhi and also others who are part of this conspiracy.

Husband alleged for Wife’s murder arrested.

Case FIR No. 116/14 u/s 302/307 IPC dated 04/02/2014, PS Begumpur, Delhi

With the arrest of Jai Prakash { Guddu} S/o Sh. Hari Nath R/o A-202, Rajiv Nagar, Delhi (permanent address Village Chitrasenpur, PS- Mirza Murad, District- Varansi, Uttar Pradesh ) age 30 years, a murder case of Promila {Pooja} W/OJai Prakash { Guddu} S/o Sh. Hari Nath R/o A-202, Rajiv Nagar, Delhi and attempt to murder of his daughter has been worked out by the staff of PS Begumpur, Delhi.

Brief facts:-

On 04.02.2014, an information through PCR regarding killing of his wife by knife by a person and running away was received vide DD No. 10A, in PS Begumpur, Delhi. On receiving this information, Inspr. Sudhir kumar, SI Ravinder Kumar along with staff reached at the spot. On enquiry at the spot, it was found that one lady namely Promila (Pooja) has been stabbed and her daughter was slit by throat and both the injured have been rushed to SGM hospital by PCR Van.

In between an information was received at PS from SGM Hospital, regarding Promila {Pooja} W/O Jai Prakash { Guddu} brought dead and her daughter namely Laxmi Age 1 year was under treatment in the hospital. In herstatement recorded before the Executive Magistrate, Raj Wanti; sister of deceased stated that deceased and her husband Jai Prakash alias Guddu did not have good terms and he killed deceased and also slit the throat of his daughter Laxmi to kill her and ran away with his two other children. A case vide FIR No. 116/14 u/s 302/307 IPC dated 04/02/2014 has been registered at Police Station Begumpur, Delhi.

Investigation/interrogation:-

During the course of investigation, it was revealed that Jai Prakash {Guddu} S/o Sh. Hari Nath was married to deceased Promila [Pooja] in the year 2007. It was a love marriage. They have three children; one son and two daughters. The relations between them were not cordial just after the marriage. They used to quarrel on petty issues. Most of the time deceased used to live with her parents. She left her husband’s house and has been living at her parental home since last one and half year. One baby Laxmi [injured] was born at her parental home one year ago. On this Jai Prakash {Guddu} had doubt in his mind that his wife had illicit relationship with some other person. He killed his wife and tried to kill his daughter also.
