Short term sealed tenders are invited on behalf of The Principal, ARSD College, Dhaula Kuan, New Delhi, for Supplying, Installing, Testing & Commissioning of Split unit Based Air Conditioning & Ventilation System for the Library Hall in the Ground floor and Mezzanine Floor of ARSD College, Dhaula Kuan, New Delhi.

Technical Specifications:

Ø  Air-cooled type Hi wall Split units with 5 Star rating with energy efficient Rotary compressor.

Ø  Hi wall Split unit can throw air atleast upto 28 ft.

Ø  Total air flow not less than 798 CFM, along with air cooled condenser, charging of required quantity of refrigerant.

Ø  Unit can work upto 50 degree Celsius.

Ø  Noise level of Indoor unit should be 52/48/43 and for Outdoor unit 58.

Ø  Energy efficient ratio (EER-W/W) should be 3.58.

Ø  Moisture removal should be 3.5 Liter/hour..

Ø  Piping length as per site requirement .

Ø  Evaporator fins should be Hydrophilic Blue Fins and Condenser fins should be louvered fins.

Ø  Filters should be active carbon/dust filter.

Ø  Pipe insulation will be preferably with Armaflex or equivalent material with PVC tapes covering the insulation.

Ø  There will be common drain pipe installed for water drain outlet connection.

Ø  Any other problem faced by us from time to time.

Eligibility Criteria:

1.  The bidder should be either of the following Blue Star/ OEM’s Daikin / LG / Mitsubishi Electric/ Toshiba/ Hitachi/Trane/Voltas/Samsung

or

2.  The bidder should be authorized representative of make Blue Star/ Daikin / LG / Mitsubishi Electric/ Toshiba/ Hitachi/Trane/Voltas/Samsung

3.  In Case of Point No. 2 the bidder should provide a letter on the letter head of the OEM stating that the bidder is authorized to quote install and provide maintenance for the VRF system Installed.

4.  Preference will be given to firm having most energy efficient equipment (high COP) and having low running cost (IKW/HP). Financial bids of only three best firms having energy efficiency (lowest energy consumption) shall be evaluated.

5.  The Bidder should provide a confirmation provided by OEM on their letter head stating the COP of their Outdoor Units Proposed.

6.  Tender will be opened in the office of Principal, ARSD College.

7.  The bidder should provide the following documents along with their Technical Bid:

a) Documentary Evidence in support of Bidder Turnover.

b) Experience of execution of similar work for minimum three years along with photocopy of Pan card, ESI and P.F, Service Tax Registration.

c) Duly Filled Technical Data Sheet as per the tender format.

8.  In case the date of opening of tender happens to be holiday then these will be received and opened on next working day at the same time.

9.  Department reserves the right to reject any or all the tenders without assigning any reason.

10.  Telegraphic / Conditional Tender will not be accepted.

Other Terms and Conditions:

1.  Completed Tenders shall be accompanied with Tender Fee of Rs. 2000/- (Rupees Two thousand) only through a Challan remitted in the college or DD drawn in the Favour of Principal, ARSD College, payable at New Delhi.

2.  Completed Tenders shall be accompanied with EMD amount equal to 2% (two Percentages) of the Total quoted price (Contract price) by DD drawn in favour of Principal, ARSD College, Payable at New Delhi. EMD amount will be returned after Warranty period of one year.

3.  The quantities shown for the accessories are very tentative and it is the responsibility of the contractor to check the actual measurements at site.

4.  The entire system shall have one year full warranty and free maintenance for one year.

5.  Bidders shall cooperate with the main civil contractors in installation of the system.

6.  Quoted price shall include the cost of electrification from Power room in front of the Library Hall to the entire Air conditioning system. Bidders are advised to contact Site Engineer in College office to facilitated the site visit before quoting.

The work site may be inspected by contacting Mr.Yogesh kumar in the college office between 10:00 to 5:00(Monday to Friday )

The quotations must reach the Principal, A.R.S.D. College,Dhaula Kuan, New Delhi latest by 29.03.2016 under a sealed cover marked “Quotation for HVAC in Library”.
