Soon after the start Shingo and Cindylicious bumped, checking Cindylicious. Approaching the first turn Captain Bling, Alonnah and Waratah Boy bumped, checking Alonnah. On the first turn Hellyeah Tangles, Alonnah and Waratah Boy bumped, checking Waratah Boy and Alonnah. On the home turn Alonnah checked off the heels of Hellyeah Razor and as a result bumped with Cindylicious, checking Alonnah and Cindylicious. At the same time Shingo checked off the heels of Daggy’s Gift.

Approaching the home turn Big Tsonga and Wiggle Wags bumped, severely checking Big Tsonga. On the home turn Heliski and Be Tea Oh bumped. Entering the home straight Queen Solitude checked off the heels of Kimmyross. Chilliwack and Heliski raced wide in the home straight. Big Tsonga underwent a post race veterinary examination and no apparent injury could be detected. A post race swab sample was taken from Fantastic Emma the winner of the event.

Cool Moss completed a steward’s satisfactory trial as it had not started in an event for a period in excess of 6 months pursuant to LR 31.3. Weighing 28.3 kilos and beginning from box 3, Cool Moss completed the 461 metre trial distance in a time of 26.90. Cool Moss has been cleared to race at all tracks.
