Read 21-30.. Draw a map of the 13 colonies; break them into the 3 sub-groups (label and identify by color) and give at least 2 distinguishing characteristic about each sub -group. (10 pts.)

Answer the questions: What would be the advantages of using indentured servants in the Southern colonies? What is the difference between an indentured servant and a slave?(5 pts.)

Briefly explain mercantilism and what as its connection to the navigation acts (5 Pts.)

A news article that relates to this week’s reading and assignments, the article must be cut out /printed attached to the page with a 3-4 sentence summary of the article, another 3-4 sentences explaining the relationship between the article and this week’s assignments. This needs to be written in blue or black ink (neatly) or typed. (15 pts.)

The finished map of geographic features the United States; colored with a key. 11 items placed and labeled correctly; Atlantic, Appalachians, Ohio, Mississippi, and Missouri Rivers, the Great lakes, the Great Plains, the Rockies, Sierra Nevada, the Columbia, and the Pacific.( 25PTS.)

Read 31-39 do a bubble map on the French & Indian war. Who were the winners? Who were the losers? What did the colonials hope to gain? What did Pontiac hope to gain? How does the Proclamation of 1763 fit into all this?( Complete sentences 3 paragraph minimum) ( 10 Pts. )

Do the Standardized Test practice on page 43 (5 Pts.)
