Creekside Elementary
Flag Salute, Welcome, and Introductions – Jackie Firth
Meeting was called to order at 7:05pm by Jackie Firth at Creekside Elementary. Proper meeting notice was given and there was a quorum.
Issaquah Proposed Bond
Christine Malchow who represents Creekside Elementary on The Bond Feasibility Committee talked about what a bond is and the new bond Issaquah hopes to pass in February of 2016.
VP of Fundraising Report-Jackie Firth
We have reached 101% of our goal for Orange Ruler at the time of the meeting. Volunteers are still needed for the fun run on Friday.
Principal Report-Tera Coyle
-Tera thanked the PTSA for the teacher luncheon and author visit.
-The school wide focus is changing this year from literacy to math.
-Family Literacy Night will be held on 10/7/15. Dinner will be served at 5:30 and workshops will be held from 6:00-7:00. Families must RSVP to attend.
President Report-Jackie Firth
-Jackie went over the changes and additions to our standing rules. A motion was made to accept the standing rules as amended. The motion carried.

Treasurer Report-Yolanda Watson-Spiva
-Yolanda read through the Creekside PTSA proposed budget for 2015-2016 and the Creekside PTSA budget summary for 2015-2016. A motion was made to accept the budget as amended for the 2015-2016 school year. The motion carried.
-Yolanda Watson-Spiva, Christine Watson, and Doug Watson conducted a financial review. Everything was in order and the next financial review will be in February.
VP of Volunteers-Rebecca Welliver
-We need volunteers for the Orange Ruler fun run. Signups are available online.
-We need committee chairs for Reflections and Destination Imagination.
-The Halloween Bash is on 10/30 from 5:00-7:00. Volunteers are needed.
-We need a legislative representative, community advocate, special education representative, and a VIS rep.
Secretary Report-Jessica Miller
The May and June general meeting minutes were approved.
Open Floor
-9/25 is the last day to order Otterwear.
-Brown Bear tickets and yearbooks are still available online.
