PROJECT: CHART OR FAMILY TREE
Prepare some kind of chart or family tree showing the characters and their relationship to each other (it doesn’t necessarily have to be family related – it could be how they are related by friendship, enmity, etc.) Include at least three (3) biographical facts about each character.
WARNING: This project only works for books with at least five fully developed characters.

- Neatness: There should be no scratch outs or misprints ………5 points
- Accuracy: There should be no false statements. The game must have something to ……….7 points
- Title &Author: The title and author of the book are correctly spelled and displayed on the brochure…….. 3 points
Creativity / 7 points /
- Creativity in overall presentation to make project look unique. This does not include random sparkles or glitter, but a thought out illustrated approach. In other words, there should be pictures (hand drawn or computer generated) that go along with the story. Simply scanning the book cover will not count toward this portion of the grade. The chart or tree must be colorful……. 5 points
- First attempt: Student should not have completed this type of project for quarterly presentations …….2 points

- Shows how the characters are connected to each other based on the story
- Lines are drawn connecting the characters……3 points
- A small description of how the characters are related is along the lines……4 points
