SUMMER READING ASSEMBLY, SEPTEMBER 16: Monday, September 16th there will be a Summer Reading Assembly in the Lee Gym at 8:00 a.m. Parents are welcome to attend.
BARELEE BACK PICNIC, SEPTEMBER 19: Come join us from 6-8 on Thursday, September 19th as we picnic and visit with our students, teachers and fellow Lee parents. Pizza and ice cream will be available for purchase.
‘WEAR PINK FRIDAY”: SEPTEMBER 20 Every year LEE shows its support to breast cancer survivors by wearing a PINK polo or PINK t-shirt one day to encourage LEE Team sign ups for the Komen Race For The Cure! Wear Pink tops (TPS Dress code)—or a LEE T-SHIRT and uniform bottoms & athletic shoes please!
SCOUTS AND TEAM MEMBERS: Starting this Friday, September 13th, you may wear your Team Jersey, Cub Scout or Girl Scout shirt to school for Spirit Day. This must be a team you play on or your current Scout group. The team jerseys or Scout shirts must be worn with your regular uniform bottoms and you must wear your athletic shoes. If you have any questions about a team jersey or uniform, bring it to school and we will let you know if it fits the guidelines. We are excited to be able to show our pride for our teams and Scouts.
SCHOOL HOURS: Outside Doors will open at 7:30. Students who come early will not be allowed in the building before 7:15. Early students may sit in their grade level line in the gym at 7:15. Supervision is not available for students before 7:15 so please do not have your children waiting outside the building. We want all of our Lee Elementary children to be safe.

#1 GET YOUR REAR IN GEAR RUN WAS LAST Saturday at Veterans’ Park. The LEE TEAM won the $200 for having the Largest School Team-50 runners strong! Many members of the Lee Team placed in the 5k led by Bella Thompson (4-3) who was 3rd Overall Female & won her age group; Lilly Wing (K-2) 2nd; Nick Koster (1-2) 3rd; parents Holly Thompson, Kelly Cates & Catherine Whitney all placed 2nd in their age group. Drew Reeves (4-2) won 1st in the Fun Run and Greer Simmons (2-2) was 4th. Thanks for your support!
#2 KOMEN RACE FOR THE CURE, Saturday, September 28 7:30 ONEOK Field The pink paper entries are due TODAY, SEPTEMBER 12! You may enter on the LEE Elementary Team online at www.komentulsa.org until Friday, September 20. Please join the RFC Lee Team!
#3 ZOO Run, Saturday, October 5th 8:00 Tulsa ZOO The green entry forms for the ZOO Run are coming home today and are due back to the Lee Office by Friday, September 20! This is one of the most kid-friendly runs we do all year-and your family gets in the Zoo free for the day if you sign up. This is also one of the runs that offer $$$ for the largest 3 school teams! Please join the ZOO Run Lee Team!
LAPS FOR LEE Running Club began on Wednesday, September 11 and will continue on Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays until Wednesday, October 16. Mrs. Hilsabeck, Mrs. Thompson & Mrs. Roper.
