ABOUT AAWGT GRANTS
By pooling their contributions, AAWGT members are able to leverage the impact of their charitable giving. In 2017, AAWGT awarded more than $110,000 in grants to non-profits serving women families in Anne Arundel County.
Members are involved in every aspect of the grantmaking process. Teams of AAWGT members review the proposals received and, in some cases, conduct site visits. Teams meet to present their findings and reach consensus as to which proposals are to be recommended to the membership for a vote. AAWGT members determine which programs are awarded grants each year.
