Provide a numbered list of every deliverable identified in the contract and summarize the contract’s overall relationship to student achievement.

Company will support the District with an online learning software program to support student achievement in English Language Arts in the Common Core State Standards (CCSS). This online learning software program, slated for September 1, 2017­ to August 30, 2018, will provide the necessary supports for students to prepare for the Rhode Island Comprehensive Assessment System (RICAS).

myON is a personalized literacy program that provides unlimited, 24/7 concurrent access to the largest integrated collection of digital books with built in reading supports; customized to a student’s interest and reading abilities. Created to enhance the reading experience, myON develops an individual profile for each student based on his or her interests and reading ability, and generates a recommended book list that will continuously adapt to each student’s reading progress, book reviews and interests. Educators have the ability to create and assign differentiated book lists by student, group or class. Access to real-time educator reports are also embedded in the educator dashboard.

  1. The Company agrees to provide myON unlimited access for one year to the following schools: Pleasant View, ASF Broad, Harry Kizirian, George J. West and Young/Woods
  1. PD webinar includes an introduction and overview which covers the student experience (i.e., library exploration, accessing content, literacy tools demo, and self-monitoring) through the student account, and the faculty experience (i.e., teacher dashboard, management of rosters/groups, projects, and reports and accountability). PD also includes discussion of best practices for student accountability and fidelity of use, setting time goals for taking initial assessments, and a review of the educator resource portal.

In no more than three paragraphs, describe the accountability measures that will ensure that the vendor meets all requirements set forth in the contract and that the district is able to maintain a record of the quality of the services.

Every contract should include explicit language requiring vendor accountability, i.e. required program evaluation or the submission of a final report summarizing progress against each itemized deliverable.

The Company must adhere to the following expectations for customer service by providing:

  1. Technical assistance to District and its schools when needed
  2. Troubleshooting and resolution of issues with the Product and its functionality, preferably within a 24 hour period;
  3. Informal training for District and school staff in support of the use of the Product; and
  4. Mid-year (January) and end of year (June) usage and achievement reports that include current and comparison data points for both educators and students.

Fee Schedule

The Company will provide digital access to myOn from September 1, 2017 to August 30, 2018 to Pleasant View, ASF Broad. Kizirian, Young/Woods, and West.

The district agrees to pay Company a fee of $31,750.00 as compensation for services rendered.
