ISSUE OF TENDER FOR UNLOADING / STACKING OF IMPORT SHIPMENTS (ODC) AT AVADI, CHENNAI
SCOPE OF WORK: Arranging necessary equipment like adequate capacity fork lift , tools and labour for unloading cargo from the trailors, and placing/stacking at the nominated places in the
customers place at Avadi.
TOTAL PACKAGES 18 cases WEIGHT each in the range of 1 to 3 tons . In gauge parcels.
Note:
Only registered contractors should participate and should forward the quote on this tender document along with their covering letter. Offers from unregistered vendors will not be considered and their cases would be considered only for subsequent tenders after registration as vendors. The contractor should deploy adequate capacity forklift , tools and labour with all permits/ original authenticated documents.
The period of contract will be from 21/04/2016 till 30/09/2016 and the above volume of packages is expected in the initial lot. If required, if any more such cargos arrive for the same destination, within 30.09.2016, contractor should be willing to extend the services at the same rates.
Labourers engaged should adhere to all security conditions at the customer place. We are not responsible for any accidents/ brakages happening to the contractors’ men and material.
The Heavy Lift drivers engaged should have valid driving licences and the vehicles should have all documents like insurance, RC.,etc.
The Successful operator should be in a position to place the vehicles at a short notice and lift the cargo within 6 hours of intimation.
Company reserves the right to accept/reject or split the orders at its own discretion The rates quoted should be valid till 31.5.2016 and if once accepted, no increase will be considered.
Payment: Will be made within 15 days on submission of bill with proof of delivery.

Arranging of fork lift/ crane at CVRDE complex, Chennai for unloading of 18 pkgs from trailors or containers.

Note: It is expected that the unloading will take place in a maximum of 2 working days and the rates quoted should cover for a minimum period of 2 days and if it extents from 3rd day, additional hire charges per day to be quoted.
