1.  Next Board Meetings

An Agenda Review Session (Student Board Member for a Night Presentation) will be held at 5:00 p.m. in the NFHS Cafeteria.

We are providing a buffet beginning at 5:00 p.m. in the Red/Green Cafeteria with the actual meeting to follow.

The agenda and materials for the November 20 Regular Board Meeting are enclosed.

If you are unable to attend the meeting or will be arriving after 5:30 p.m., please let Mrs. Dumas know (286-4204).

2. Special Invitations/Presentations

The annual "Board Member for a Night" is scheduled for this meeting. The program gives students a chance to experience a Niagara Falls Board of Education meeting from the inside.

A.  Routine Matters

#8 Personnel Report for Certificated Staff

All recommended actions are in compliance with statutory, contractual, and other legal requirements. The funds necessary to implement the changes in salaries and fringe benefits are available in the General and Special Aid Fund budgets.

As of November 20, 2003, (unless otherwise specified) all certificated staff positions authorized by the Board of Education are filled.

#9 Personnel Report for Classified Staff

All recommended actions are in compliance with statutory, contractual, and other legal requirements. The funds necessary to implement the changes in salaries and fringe benefits are available in the General and Special Aid Fund budgets.

As of November 20, 2003, (unless otherwise specified) all classified staff positions authorized by the Board of Education are filled except for the following:

1 – Account Clerk – Finance Office
2 – School Nurses – Locations TBD

If you would like the chairman of the Committee on Special Education to attend the meeting to answer questions about the report, please let me know by Wednesday morning.
