Dear Coaches
The Northside Wizards SBL Program aspires to provide athletes with the best opportunity to reach their potential, not only as basketball players but as members of the Northside Wizards Basketball community.
Our coaches are not just part of their individual team, they are members of a broader Northside Wizards Basketball community that includes players, coaches, managers, referees, parents, committee, staff and supporters, all dedicated towards helping our athletes and teams achieve their goals. This task requires the involvement of extremely dedicated volunteers, who will all become contributors to our on-court success. We are seeking persons that can contribute time, expertise and enthusiasm as a Head Coach in our program.
Coaches are expected to comply with Northside Wizards and Basketball Qld policies, including but not limited to the Northside Wizards Values and the requirements outlined in the NWB SBL Coach Agreement.

REQUIREMENTS OF APPOINTED JUNIOR REPRESENTATIVE COACHES
· Minimum - current Level 1 NCAS Accreditation (or ability to attain as soon as possible)
· Commitment to maintain and update coach qualifications as required by BQ
· Commitment to the development of players
· Maintain an appropriate level of communication with other coaches, players and Northside Wizards staff and officials
· Demonstrate an appropriate level of professionalism at games and practice sessions
