Anagram

  • Open a blank page.
  • Click the Gallery Tab.
  • Click the + to expand the Lesson Activity Toolkit 2.0.
  • Click Activities.
  • In the bottom pane click Interactive and Multimedia.
  • Click Blue-Anagram and drag it onto the blank page.
  • Click Edit on the notebook page.
  • Click in the field below Anagram 1 and type the word.
  • Click in the filed below Clue 1 and enter the clue.
  • To include an image as a visual clue if desired
  • Open your browser and search for an image.
  • When you find an image you want to use, click and drag it to the corresponding square under the column “Remove Images.”
  • Repeat the steps until you have all the Anagrams, Clues, and Images you need.
  • Click the drop down arrow next to Speed and choose Fast, Medium, or Slow.
  • Check the box next to the word Timer If you want the timer to run.
  • To password protect the file, check Password box and enter a password.
  • Click OK.
  • Click File>Save and enter a location and file name.

Category Sort - Image

  • Open a blank page.
  • Click the Gallery Tab.
  • Click the + to expand the Lesson Activity Toolkit 2.0.
  • Click Activities.
  • In the bottom pane click Interactive and Multimedia.
  • Click Blue-Category sort (image) and drag it onto the blank page.
  • Click Edit on the notebook page.
  • Click the drop down arrow and choose how many images to use.
  • Click the button beside 2 Columns or 3 Columns.
  • Click in the column label fields and enter aname for the columns.
  • Use your browser to search for an image; then click and drag it to one of the squares.
  • Click the drop down arrow next to the image and select the correct column.
  • Repeat the steps until you have all the images and columnsyou need.
  • Decide whether or not to show a Solve button by clicking the Solve button checkbox.
  • To password protect the file, check Passwordbox and enter a password.
  • Click OK.
  • Click File>Save and enter a location and file name.

Category Sort - Text

  • Open a blank page.
  • Click the Gallery Tab.
  • Click the + to expand the Lesson Activity Toolkit 2.0.
  • Click Activities.
  • In the bottom pane click Interactive and Multimedia.
  • Click Blue-Category sort (text) and drag it onto the blank page.
  • Click Edit on the notebook page.
  • Click the button beside 2 Columns or 3 Columns.
  • Click in the column label fields and enter aname for each column.
  • Enter the text to be sorted in the label fields.
  • Click the drop down arrow next to the text and choose the appropriate column.
  • Repeat the steps until you have all the text and columnsyou need.
  • Decide whether or not to show a Solve button by clicking the Solve button checkbox.
  • To password protect the file, check Passwordbox and enter a password.
  • Click OK.
  • Click File>Save and enter a location and file name.

Hot Spots

  • Open a blank page and click the Gallery Tab.
  • Click the + to expand the Lesson Activity Toolkit 2.0 and click Activities.
  • In the bottom pane click Interactive and Multimedia.
  • Click Blue-Hot Spots and drag it onto the blank page.
  • Click Edit on the notebook page.
  • Click the drop down arrow next to World Map and choose an image.
  • To use a custom image
  • Click Custom.
  • Drag the image into the image area.
  • Click the drop down arrow next to Score by distance and choose a scoring preference.
  • Score by distance calculates how far away the attempt is from the target as a percentage.
  • Score by region allows you to set a perimeter around the target; if the attempt is within the perimeter, you score 100 points.
  • No scoring generates no score
  • Click the checkbox next to Timer to use a timer; bonus points are awarded based on how much times is left on the timer.
  • To add a target
  • Click Add.
  • Click where on the picture you want the target.
  • Enter a label/description for the target.
  • Repeat the steps until you have all the targetsyou need.
  • To password protect the file, check Passwordbox and enter a password.
  • Click OK.
  • Click File>Save and enter a location and file name.

Image Arrange

  • Open a blank page.
  • Click the Gallery Tab.
  • Click the + to expand the Lesson Activity Toolkit 2.0.
  • Click Activities.
  • In the bottom pane click Interactive and Multimedia.
  • Click Blue- Image arrange and drag it onto the blank page.
  • Click Edit on the notebook page.
  • Click the drop down arrow and choose how many images to use.
  • Use your browser to search for an image; then click and drag it to one of the squares.
  • Continue dragging images into order onto the page.
  • To password protect the file, check Passwordbox and enter a password.
  • Click OK.
  • Click File>Save and enter a location and file name.

Image Match

  • Open a blank page.
  • Click the Gallery Tab.
  • Click the + to expand the Lesson Activity Toolkit 2.0.
  • Click Activities.
  • In the bottom pane click Interactive and Multimedia.
  • Click Blue- Image match and drag it onto the blank page.
  • Click Edit on the notebook page.
  • Click the drop down arrow and choose how many images to use.
  • Use your browser to search for an image; then click and drag it to one of the squares.
  • Enter a label/description in the box below the image.
  • Repeat until you have all the images and labels/descriptions you need.
  • Decide whether or not to show a Solve button by clicking the Solve button checkbox.
  • To password protect the file, check Passwordbox and enter a password.
  • Click OK.
  • Click File>Save and enter a location and file name.

Image Select

  • Open a blank page and click the Gallery Tab.
  • Click the + to expand the Lesson Activity Toolkit 2.0.
  • Click Activities.
  • In the bottom pane click Interactive and Multimedia.
  • Click Blue- Image select and drag it onto the blank page.
  • Click Edit on the notebook page.
  • Click the drop down arrow and choose how many images to use.
  • Click the drop arrow next to Label Select and choose either LabelSelect or Handwriting.
  • In Label Select the labels appear on the page with the image; the user clicks on the appropriate label to match the image.
  • In Handwriting a blank appears under the image; the user uses the pen to enter the correct label to match the image (use only alpha numeric characters with no spaces).
  • Use your browser to search for an image; then click and drag it to one of the squares.
  • Enter a label in the box below the image.
  • Repeat until you have all the images and labels.
  • Decide whether or not to show a Solve button by clicking the Solve button checkbox.
  • To password protect the file, check Passwordbox and enter a password.
  • Click OK.
  • Click File>Save and enter a location and file name.

Keyword Match

  • Open a blank page.
  • Click the Gallery Tab.
  • Click the + to expand the Lesson Activity Toolkit 2.0.
  • Click Activities.
  • In the bottom pane click Interactive and Multimedia.
  • Click Blue- Keyword match and drag it onto the blank page.
  • Click Edit on the notebook page.
  • Enter the words in the fields under the Word column.
  • Enter a description to match each word in the corresponding field under the Description column (NOTE: a scroll bar will appear if the description takes additional space).
  • Decide whether or not to show a Solve button by clicking the Solve button checkbox.
  • To password protect the file, check Passwordbox and enter a password.
  • Click OK.
  • Click File>Save and enter a location and file name.

Multiple Choice

  • Open a blank page.
  • Click the Gallery Tab.
  • Click the + to expand the Lesson Activity Toolkit 2.0.
  • Click Activities.
  • In the bottom pane click Interactive and Multimedia.
  • Click Blue- Multiple choice and drag it onto the blank page.
  • Click Edit on the notebook page.
  • Click the drop down arrow and select the number of questions.
  • Click the tab of the question you want to enter.
  • Click Type question here and enter the question.
  • Type an answer in each field.
  • Click the drop down arrow next to The correct answer is and choose the correct answer.
  • Repeat the steps until you’ve entered all the questions.
  • To password protect the file, check Passwordbox and enter a password.
  • Click OK.
  • Click File>Save and enter a location and file name.

Note Reveal

  • Open a blank page.
  • Click the Gallery Tab.
  • Click the + to expand the Lesson Activity Toolkit 2.0.
  • Click Activities.
  • In the bottom pane click Interactive and Multimedia.
  • Click Blue-Note Reveal and drag it onto the blank page.
  • Click Edit on the notebook page.
  • Click in the field next to 1 and enter the notes (a scroll bar will appear if the notes are more than 1 line).
  • Click on the 1 and change the button text if desired.
  • Repeat the steps until you have all the notes entered.
  • To password protect the file, check the Password box and enter a password.
  • Click OK.
  • Click File>Save and enter a location and file name.
  • To start the activity, click OK and click the number to reveal the note. Click the number again to hide the note.

Pairs

  • Open a blank page.
  • Click the Gallery Tab.
  • Click the + to expand the Lesson Activity Toolkit 2.0.
  • Click Activities.
  • In the bottom pane click Interactive and Multimedia.
  • Click Blue-Pairs and drag it onto the blank page.
  • Click Edit on the notebook page.
  • Click the drop down arrow next to No. of pairs and select the number of pairs you need..
  • Type text or drag an image onto the first tile.
  • Repeat the steps until you have all the tiles entered.
  • To delete an image, check the Delete images checkbox then click on the image to delete it.
  • To password protect the file, check the Password box and enter a password.
  • Click OK.
  • Click File>Save and enter a location and file name.

Sentence Arrange

  • Open a blank page.
  • Click the Gallery Tab.
  • Click the + to expand the Lesson Activity Toolkit 2.0.
  • Click Activities.
  • In the bottom pane click Interactive and Multimedia.
  • Click Blue-Sentence Arrange and drag it onto the blank page.
  • Click Edit on the notebook page.
  • Enter up to 8 sentences or words in the desired order.
  • Decide whether or not to show a Solve button by clicking the Solve button checkbox.
  • To password protect the file, check the Password box and enter a password.
  • Click OK.
  • Click File>Save and enter a location and file name.
  • Click OK to start the activity.

Tiles

  • Open a blank page and click the Gallery Tab.
  • Click the + to expand the Lesson Activity Toolkit 2.0.
  • Click Activities.
  • In the bottom pane click Interactive and Multimedia.
  • Click Blue- Tiles and drag it onto the blank page.
  • Click Edit on the notebook page.
  • Click the drop down arrow next to Tiles and choose the grid dimensions.
  • Click the Tiles tab and check the Tile color box to select random tile colors or uncheck it to use one solid color.
  • Click the Text tab.
  • Check the Text box if you want text on the tiles.
  • Choose a font and size.
  • Type the text in the box on each tile.
  • Click the Objects tab.
  • Drag an image, text, sound or other multimedia object onto the page.
  • Right-click the object and choose Order>Send to Back.
  • Click the Options tab.
  • Check the Answer box if you want to include the answer.
  • Click the drop down menu on the right and choose whether tiles will be revealed manually or randomly.
  • Select Interact to interact with objects revealed behind the tiles.
  • To password protect the file, check the Password box and enter a password.
  • Click OK.
  • Click File>Save and enter a location and file name.

Time Line Reveal

  • Open a blank page.
  • Click the Gallery Tab.
  • Click the + to expand the Lesson Activity Toolkit 2.0.
  • Click Activities.
  • In the bottom pane click Interactive and Multimedia.
  • Click Blue- Time Line Reveal and drag it onto the blank page.
  • Click Edit on the notebook page.
  • Click the drop down arrow next to Number of dates and choose a number.
  • Enter a date and description for each event.
  • To password protect the file, check the Password box and enter a password.
  • Click OK.
  • Click File>Save and enter a location and file name.
  • Press OK to start the activity.

Vortex Sort (Image)

  • Open a blank page.
  • Click the Gallery Tab.
  • Click the + to expand the Lesson Activity Toolkit 2.0.
  • Click Activities.
  • In the bottom pane click Interactive and Multimedia.
  • Click Blue- Vortex sort (Image) and drag it onto the blank page.
  • Click Edit on the notebook page.
  • Click in the box next to Vortex 1 label and enter the first category.
  • Click in the box next to Vortex 2 label and enter the next category.
  • Click the drop down arrow and decide how many images to use.
  • Use your browser to search for an image; then click and drag it to one of the squares.
  • Click the drop down next to the image you entered and choose the vortex/category it belongs in.
  • Continue entering images and choosing categories for up to 16 images.
  • Check the box next to Rotate vertices if you want the vortex to spin.
  • To password protect the file, check the Password box and enter a password.
  • Click OK.
  • Click File>Save and enter a location and file name.
  • Press OK to start the activity.

Vortex Sort

  • Open a blank page.
  • Click the Gallery Tab.
  • Click the + to expand the Lesson Activity Toolkit 2.0.
  • Click Activities.
  • In the bottom pane click Interactive and Multimedia.
  • Click Blue- Vortex sort and drag it onto the blank page.
  • Click Edit on the notebook page.
  • Click in the box next to Vortex 1 label and enter the first category.
  • Click in the box next to Vortex 2 label and enter the next category.
  • Enter a label next to Label 1.
  • Click the drop down next to the text you entered for Label 1 and choose the category it belongs in.
  • Continue entering labels and choosing categories for up to 16 labels.
  • Check the box next to Rotate vertices if you want the vortex to spin.
  • To password protect the file, check the Password box and enter a password.
  • Click OK.
  • Click File>Save and enter a location and file name.
  • Press OK to start the activity.

Word Biz

  • Open a blank page and click the Gallery Tab.
  • Click the + to expand the Lesson Activity Toolkit 2.0.
  • Click Activities.
  • In the bottom pane click Interactive and Multimedia.
  • Click Blue- Word biz and drag it onto the blank page.
  • Click Edit on the notebook page.
  • Click in the box next to Number of questions and choose the number of questions in the game.
  • Enter the questions and answers in the appropriate fields; click the drop down arrow next to Font to change the font.
  • Click next to Difficulty and choose the difficulty level of the game.
  • If you want the game timed, make sure the Timer box is checked.
  • Click the drop down arrow next to Speed to set the question speed.
  • To password protect the file, check the Password box and enter a password.
  • Click OK.
  • Click File>Save and enter a location and file name.
  • Press Start to start the activity.
  • To play the game
  • Read the question in the box.
  • Spell out the answer by selecting letters from the grid.
  • The score in the bottom-left corner shows 10 points for every correct letter and subtracts 2 points for every incorrect one; a time bonus is awarded based on how much time is left on the timer when all questions are complete.

Word Guess

  • Open a blank page.
  • Click the Gallery Tab.
  • Click the + to expand the Lesson Activity Toolkit 2.0.
  • Click Activities.
  • In the bottom pane click Interactive and Multimedia.
  • Click Blue- Word guess and drag it onto the blank page.
  • Click Edit on the notebook page.
  • Click the drop down arrow next to Soccer and choose a theme.
  • Enter the words and clues in the appropriate fields; words cannot be longer than 20 characters and must be entered in all lowercase.
  • To password protect the file, check the Password box and enter a password.
  • Click OK.
  • Click File>Save and enter a location and file name.
