Now that you have finished reading your books, you must decide as a group how you will present the novel to the class.

You will have 15 minutes to present your book to the class.

Be creative. You may wish to create a movie trailer (flip cameras), a scrapbook (mixbook.com), a talk show video (voice thread)in which you interview the characters from the book, a book talk(voice thread), a website (wiki or Google Sites), a sound track.

Include in your presentation

·  an important theme of the novel. Explain with specifics why this is a theme of the novel. Use excerpts to explain your theme.

·  the format of this work of literature. How was the book set up? Was this effective? Did it make the writing more or less interesting? Share specific references to the writing to support your opinion.

·  connections to other works we studied this year. Use quotes from the works you are referring to. The connections must be specific.

·  recommendations. Was this work an example of good literature? Why? Who would like to read this novel? Why? Do not give away the ending of the novel because other students may wish to read the novel.
