To Kill a MockingbirdArtifacts (Part 1)

Due: August 17 to turnitin.com

In order to further explore the artifacts you found during your To Kill a Mockingbird research, we will create an annotated bibliography.
An annotated bibliography is similar to a Works Cited page, but it expands on the quality and legitimacy of each source. Our annotated bibliography will consist of 6 parts for each artifact:

  • Title
  • Artifact
  • Citation (in the same format as a Works Cited page)
  • Summary of the Source
  • Legitimacy of the source
  • Reflection

Follow these steps for completing your annotated bibliography:

  1. Choose 1 artifact from each category you researched (you will have a total of 3)

For example: If you researched The Great Depression, Harper Lee and The Scottsboro Trial, you will have 1 artifact from The Great Depression, 1 artifact about Harper Lee and 1 artifact about The Scottsboro Trial)
You cannot use the same type of artifact twice (ie: you will not have more than one poem)

  1. Title the citation with the artifact category and artifact
Example: The Great Depression: Photograph of a Hooverville
  2. Copy and paste the image or (if the artifact is long)just a screenshot of the artifact.

Example: Do not print all of the Jim Crow laws, just screen shot the first part.

  1. MLA Citation

Under the image, include the MLA formatted correct citation-remember, you will not include the URL at all!!
