Group Project

Each quarter you will be assigned a group to work with. This group will be your support system for studying and will assist you with your portfolio. In addition your group will give a presentation each quarter on a topic assigned to you.

You will know your topic and your due date in the first week of the quarter. You will be expected to take on specific roles in the preparation of your materials and will be held accountable for the areas assigned.

Chair- will oversee the distribution of work and make sure everything is covered. They will also be responsible for everyone having a share of work and a part of the presentation.

Researcher- While research should be carried out by everyone in the group, the person in charge of research is there to make sure that the research is of good quality and correctly referenced.

Writer- The writer scripts the presentation and makes sure that information moves in a logical and comprehendible manner.

Director- The director is responsible for the electronic media aspect of presentation. This may be a PowerPoint or short film.

Editor- the editor is responsible for streamlining the information to fit into a 5-10 minute time frame.

All members of the group will participate in researching, writing, and creating the digital presentation. The people in charge of these areas are responsible for overseeing them. They are not responsible for doing them alone.
