Uni Hall Application 2018-19 ---- For students and University Staff
A - Group applicant or Sole applicant (Uni Hall will consider these types of applicants as a priority)
If you have already made arrangement to stay with other applicants or if you are a sole applicant who applies to stay in a flat by yourself (sole occupant), please follow below procedures.
1. All applicants shall team up with other fellow students or university staff to share and jointly apply for an entire flat (same gender only), or to apply and occupy a flat in full as a sole applicant.
2. All applicants (group applicant or sole applicant) shall jointly fill in the application form A, sign, scan and send the completed form together with your University’s offer letter copy by email to
3. We will normally inform the applicant(s) of preliminary result within 2 working days from the day the application is received and we may arrange a video interview with the applicant(s).
4. The applicant(s) will receive the confirmation email from Uni Hall if the application is successful.
5. Upon receipt of confirmation of the allocation via email, the applicant(s) must confirm with Uni Hall by signing and returning the scanned signed commitment letter via email. The payment of required fees needs to be done and other prescribed procedures needs to be completed within the specific period of time.
6. After we have received the signed commitment letter and verify the required fee with the bank, a move in itinerary will be arranged in coordination with individual schedule to come to Hong Kong for signing the licence agreement before moving into Uni Hall.
7. Please note that no commitment whatsoever will be made on the part of Uni Hall unless and until the licence agreement has been duly signed and all necessary payments have been received by Uni Hall.
8. Uni Hall shall not be obliged to give reason foracceptanceor rejection of any application. Uni Hall reserves the right of final decision to all applications.

*Service and management fee and all other outgoings such as electricity, water and gas charge etc. are not included from the above licence fee. Service and management fees is to be calculated in an equal portion by reference to the number of maximum permitted occupiers of the Flat at the relevant time; all utilities charges (water, electricity and gas charge etc) is to be calculated in an equal sharing basis by reference to the number of actual occupiers of the Flat at the relevant time. For the applicant who choose to take over the entire flat, service and management fees and utilities charges such as water, electricity and gas charge etc must be bear in full.
# The calculation of “Approx. average / month” is based on the amount of the full licence fee divided by 12 as the approximate amount for your reference only. Please refer to the full licence fee (11.5 months) showed on the left hand side as the amount and licence period for the licence agreement.
Service and management fee: currently HK$6.8/sq. ft monthly (Approx.GFA) - The Services and Management is being provided by professional property management company (currently Jones Lang LaSalle Management Services Limited, a renowned worldwide management company).
All terms including but not limited to prices are subject to change from time to time which are subject to the final signing of the licence agreement. If you have any enquiry, please do not hesitate to contact us.
