International Symposium on Measurement Standards 2005

"THE FUTURE OF THE DISSEMINATION OF MEASUREMENT STANDARDS"

Today, the economical globalization is accelerating every minute in the world. For the dissemination of measurement standards, flexible, responsible, reliable and accurate service systems are required. Problems stemming from the conventional dissemination systems are now emerging in Japanese corporations which have expanded overseas, and in medical fields that have a direct link to safety.

In order to respond to the needs of the times, this symposium provides an inspiring opportunity to introduce innovative dissemination systems that take full advantage of the latest communication and information processing technology by inviting leading experts from NMIJ and other relevant organizations as lecturers.
