We are a good school with proactive staff and governors. We have a dedicated team of staff and, as a whole school community we are driven by the desire for constant improvement to enable our pupils to achieve and succeed in becoming effective members of the wider community.
We currently have 120 pupils on roll.
The successful applicant will:
- Be able to deliver all core subjects to pupils with complex learning difficulties including across KS2,3,4 &5
- Be an excellent practitioner with outstanding skills in particular in English/Literacy.
- Be able to differentiate work effectively for all pupils needs.
- Be committed to the high standards of work and behaviour expected in our school with very effective behaviour management skills.
- Be required to liaise closely with the Head of English to support Y9 English classes transition to exam work.
- Be able to work as part of a team.
- Be willing to contribute to the extra curricular activities of the school including sporting and outward bound activities.
- Have excellent interpersonal skills.
- Understand the value and vital pastoral role of form tutor for all our pupils.
- Support the development of Literacy and Numeracy across the curriculum throughout all Key Stages
