Members of the Public

A. Call to Order

Chair Pelletier called the meeting to order. Announcement by the chairman as to the presence of a quorum.

Pledge of Allegiance led by Chair Pelletier.

The meeting was recorded by John Segedy.

B. Non-Public Session

A motion was made and seconded to enter non-public session.

Paul Plater, Hillsboro-Deering School Board arrived at 6:10,

Cynthia Stosse, Windsor School Board arrived at 6:12 &

Tim Grass, Hillsboro-Deering School Board arrived at 6:15

during the Non Public session.

C. Action After Non-Public Session

Sue moved to seal the minutes of the Non-Public Session. Motion was seconded. Passed unanimously.

A 5 minute break was taken.

E. Presentation – NESDEC

Arthur Bettencourt and Dr. Kenneth DeBenedictis presented NESDEC's proposal to provide Superintendent Search Services to the District. A folder with information about the company and the process they would use was provided. The cost would be a $8,680.00 fee, and expenses of $2,986.00.

A five minute break was taken.

F. Presentation – NHSBA

Ted Comstock, Esq. and Dr. Paul DeMinico presented NHSBA's proposal to provide Superintendent Search Services to the District. A folder with information about the company and the process they would use was provided. The cost would be a $8,000.00 fee, and expenses as incurred (Generally in the range of $4,000.00 - $6,000.00).

D. Public Forum

Ernie Muserallo, Helen Bickford & Patty Parenteau each expressed that both organizations seemed good. Each also expressed that this was a hard decision and very important to the district to find someone who can work with the community.

G. Non-Public Session

A motion was made by Sue and seconded by Paul to enter non-public session.

H. Action After Non-Public Session

It was moved to seal the minutes of the Non-Public Session. Motion was seconded by Cyndi. Passed unanimously.

Paul moved to use NESDEC for the Superintendent Search. Tim seconded. Passed 6.25 - .75 John voted No.
