TRITERRA ADDS TWO NEW STAFF MEMBERS

LANSING, MI – March2017: Triterra, a Lansing-based Environmental Consulting Firm, is pleased to announce the addition of two new staff members.

Kara Bowers joins the firm as an Environmental Scientist. Kara is an Ann Arbor, Michigan native and recently graduated from Albion College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology, with a concentration in Environmental Science. Kara’s workwill focus on environmental due diligence, including Phase I & II Environmental Site Assessments, Baseline Environmental Assessments, and Due Care Evaluationsto support property transactions. Her responsibilities include conducting historical research and evaluations on properties to determine the potential for contamination to be present, as well as completing subsurface investigation activities, which includes soil, groundwater, and soil-gas sampling. Kara will also be involved with Brownfield projects and will conduct asbestos inspections.

Lucas Groat joins the firm as a Geologist. Lucas is a Marshall, Michigan native and recently graduated from the University of Toledo with a Master of Science degree in Geology. He also retains a Bachelor of Arts degree in Geology from Albion College. Luke’s work will focus on investigation and remediation of leaking underground storage tank sites along with providing assistance on environmental due diligence projects. His responsibilities will include coordinating field activities, communicating with subcontractors, completing subsurface investigations, overseeing remediation work, and preparing technical reports. Luke will also be performing asbestos inspections.
