Position: Corporate soft skillstrainer

Kardan-Angiza Center is implementing the USAID funded program Afghan Women’s Leadership in the Economy (AWLE) targeting women and girls from high school and university graduates aged 18-30 in Kabul, Afghanistan. The objective of this project is to support the DAI Kabul office in enabling Afghan women to increase their participation in the mainstream, formal economy by securing employment with advancement potential and by helping women-owned businesses grow.
Purpose:
Under the direction of Angiza Center’s Director, the corporate soft skillstrainer is responsible for training theemployees of public and private sectors who registered with Angiza Center as participants of training programs, on all Kabul locations.
The incumbent will be responsible forcreating the curriculum for corporate soft skilltrainings, delivering and continuous improvement of training programs, conducting needs assessments, executing training, developing reinforcements and finally evaluating the outcome.
Duties:
- Create and maintain a positive and professional learning environment
- Able to deliver, project and motivate trainees through effective training methodologies both in
group and individual classroom dynamics.
- Create the corporatesoft skilltraining curriculums, delivery and continuous improvement of training programs as well as ongoing.
- Utilize a variety of the training methodologies, techniques, concepts, learning tools, and practicesto ensure maximum effectiveness of training programs.
- Conduct specific training needs assessments to support the design, development and delivery ofcomprehensive corporate training programs and strategies.
- Create high quality deliverables within project budget and policy deadlines
- Manage training budget effectively, if applicable
- Performs other related duties as assigned or requested
Experience:
- Five to seven years of Corporate Soft SkillTrainingor relevant experience.
- Previous experience in working with women in career development, preferred.
- Previous experience with USAID- or donor-funded programs, preferred
- Familiarity with staff training for senior posts, promoting women in leadership and facilitation of workshops and seminars in Afghanistan.
Education:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or relevant field.
- Master’s degree, preferred.
- Fluency in English, Dari, and Pashto required.
Reporting:
- The position reports to the Director.
