Oklahoma’s Promise

Oklahoma's Promise, formerly known as OHLAP, allows students to earn a college tuition scholarship if they meet certain academic and conduct requirements in high school. Students must enroll in the 8th, 9th, or 10th grade, and your family's income cannot be more than $50,000 per year at the time you apply. There are additional financial, academic and conduct requirements to get and keep the scholarship in college. Please see Mrs. Morrow for additional information or visit www.okpromise.org

If you are an Oklahoma’s Promise (OHLAP) student, your GPA must be a 2.5 or above in order to receive the Oklahoma’s Promise money. You must also have a 2.5 in your core classes. If you are unsure of your GPA, please come in and visit with Mrs. Morrow. You can find more information on OHLAP at www.okpromise.org.

ACT

You can register for the ACT online at www.actstudent.org. Please schedule an appointment with Mrs. Morrow during an elective class if you would like assistance with the registration process. If you have an IEP, see your special education teacher before you register. Our High School Code is 373-695. You will have to upload a photo of yourself when you register. Also, you have to show a photo id on test day along with your admission ticket. If you do not have these items, you will not be able to test. See Mrs. Morrow if you do not have a photo ID.

ACT allows students who receive free or reduced lunches to receive two fee waivers. This means you can take the ACT test two times for free. Please see Mrs. Morrow for your fee waiver.

If you order and pay for a Test Information Release (TIR) during the registration process, you will receive a copy of the multiple-choice test questions used to determine your score, a list of your answers, and the answer key. The fee is $20 and this option is only available on the December, April, and June test dates.
