WALKABOUT BRAIN INJURY2016

Since 1985 Brain Injury Association of Florida, Inc. (BIAF) has remained the statewide heart and home for Florida's brain injury community. It's where the promise, By Your Side™ is kept. It's where education and counseling restore hope. It's where prevention from further brain injury is taught. It is the place where we believe no one should have to fend for themselves after a diagnosis of traumatic brain injury (TBI).

This year alone over 136,000 Floridians survived aTBI. ATBIcan be sustained from falls, fights, playground injuries, car crashes, bike accidents, sport injury as well as other activities that cause bruising, bleeding, shearing or swelling to the brain.

TheBIAFis committed to both local and statewide advocacy. We work with our advocates to raise awareness about brain injury, survivors, and their families, amongst lawmakers and the public.

WalkAboutBrain Injury is our way of raising awareness and involving survivors and their families in local communities throughout Florida. Contact:r call1-877-342-GIVE(4483)
