  1. Call to order and Welcome, President Barnhill
  2. Roll Call by Executive Director Pendergraff – A quorum was present to conduct business. In attendance from the Executive Board were: Chief Brandon Barnhill, Chief Tony Lucas, Chief Art Ealum, Chief Joe Monroe, Chief Guy Howie, Ex. Dir. Pendergraff, Chief Rob Ratliff, Chief Deputy Joe Cline, Chief Todd Kelley, Chief Chris Taylor, Chief Kelly Spratt, Chief Andy Midkiff, SAIC Richard Ferretti, Chief Merrell Harrison, Chief Bill Crider, Chief Allen Love, Commissioner Mark Filburn, Commissioner Rick Sanders, Chief Shawn Butler, Chief Giles Taylor, and Chief Jamie Land.

Absent were: Chief Doug Hamilton, Chief Mike Daly, Chief Andrew Schierberg, Chief Derek House, Chief Victor Shifflett, Chief David Gregory, Chief Mike Thomas, Chief Howard Langston, Chief Mike Ward, and LEC Lydia Hall.

  1. Introduction of Guests – SA David Griffin, US Secret Service – Presentation on help with investigations of wireless issues. Contact his office if assistance is needed.

  • Appointment of Commissioner Rick Sanders, KSP, as State Agencies Representative Chair and Rob Ratliff as Treasurer: 1st Monroe, 2ndEalum – Motion Approved.
  1. Treasurer’s Report, Rob Ratliff: Chief Ealum gave an overview of the budget and finances for KACP, also discussed accepting credit cards for membership dues.

Training Opportunities:Allan Love/Commissioner Filburn – Gatlinburg Conference May 7-10, 2018. Motion by Love, seconded by Lucas to donate $500.00. Motion Passed.

DOCJT Update: Commissioner Filburn gave an update on Basic Training backlog and in-service training

  • Finance & Audit, Chief Ealum/Rob Ratliff–Covered revenue and expenses for 2017. Ended with a $7,115.20 profit.
