REMEMBER: you still have time for revision during the 1 week exam period.

  • Get prepared: pack your bag with at least two pens, calculator, highlighters and any

other equipment needed.

  • Don’t “cram” all night.
  • Get up in plenty of time to avoid rushing and stressing or being late.

EXAM TIPS

  • Read the instructions carefully.
  • Fill out required personal details: name, form, date.
  • Read through the whole test paper.
  • Look at the number of points/marks allocated to questions.
  • Answer all of the questions.
  • Always keep an eye on the time.
  • Pay no attention to others around you. Relax and try to stay calm – try taking deep breaths before you begin.
  • If you finish early, check your answers over and over again

  • Make sure your plan covers all subjects over the four week period.
  • Take short breaks.
  • Revise in slots of 30-45 minutes.
  • Tell your parents that you are revising and ask them to help test you.
