GENERAL INFORMATION
The meet will be swum under SASA / FINA rules.
All swimmers must be registered with and have a SASA registration number
AGE GROUPS10years, 11years & 12years (as on day of competition)
POOL 6 lane 25 metre, anti-turbulence lane ropes, electronic timing.
Over the top starts may be used where deemed suitable.
WARM-UP SESSION 1 Warm up08:45–09:45. Start 09:50
SESSION 2 Warm up13:30–14:30. Start 14:35
ENTRIES Closing date – Sunday 21stMay 2017
No late entries will beaccepted.
The organisers reserve the right to restrict the number of heats and alter the warm up times if required.
Reserves may be picked on the day, in the first instance this will be from any oversubscribed DCA swimmers.

Entries will NOT be accepted for composite teams.
EVENTS10 year old events are swum over 50m (except the I.M.)
11 & 12 year old events will all be swum over 100m.
All events are heat declared winners.
RELAYSRelay teams shall be made up from a girl and a boy from each of the three age groups (6 swimmers). Swimmers may swim in any order. The relay will be heat declared winners. The relay may be limited to two heats.
SEEDING All events will be DECK seeded
AWARDS Individual Medals 1st, 2nd, 3rd
Relay Team Medals 1st, 2nd, 3rd(Qualifying Teams ONLY).
BEST BOY BEST GIRL (all age groups) andBEST CLUB TROPHY.
Points scoring shall be 6, 5, 4, 3, 2 and 1 point for all events.
WITHDRAWALSWithdrawals should be made via email to y 6pm Thursday, 8th June 2017
On the day withdrawals must be made at the Recorders table by 15mins after the start of the session warm up i.e. 09:00 & 13:45.
FEES £5.00 per individual event
£8.00 per relay team.
£6.00 per coach pass

TECHNICALIt is hoped that clubs entering will assist by supplying
OFFICIALS officials to help with the smooth running of the Gala and for accreditation requirements. Participating clubs will be requested to supply a list of those who are able to help after confirmation of acceptances has been returned to clubs.
It is generally Judges that we are most in need of.
COACHES
INFORMATIONCoaches will be issued with a Poolside Pass which must be displayed at all times whilst on poolside. Due to limited poolside space, the numberof coaches per team will be limited to a maximum of 1 coach for teams with fewer than 10 swimmers and a maximum of 2 coaches for teams with more than 10 swimmers. Clubs may request additional coach poolside passes by email to the Gala Convenors clearly stating valid reasons for such requests. Lunch will be provided on purchase of a Poolside Pass
PARKINGCar parking facilities are available at the Olympia Centre.
Short / Long Term car parks are available. Dundee City Aquatics has no control over these or the charges.
Note that parking charges are in effect from 13:00 onwards on Sundays.
PHOTOGRAPHYDue to warnings issued by the SASA we are obliged to inform you that the use of photographic equipment (cameras, camcorders, mobile phones incorporating cameras etc.) will be restricted as follows:
- No photographic equipment will be allowed either on poolside or the viewing gallery or any other area under the jurisdiction of the organising club without approval of the Olympia
- Application to use the above named equipment can be made on the day from the admissions desk. Any person wishing to do this must be able to provide identification, and evidence that they have swimmer(s) competing in the gala.
SWIMSUITSSwimsuits must comply with FINA/SASA rules in place on the day of the competition.
