Culminating Project Proposal
Each student must complete a minimum of twenty non paid project hours.

In order, answer all 9 questions thoughtfully and completely in full sentences or well-structured paragraphs, in electronic form on a separate piece of paper. The questions/answers will be attached to this project proposal.
1. Describe your project idea, including the topic and how you plan to document your work.
2. What do you already know about your topic? Discuss the learning goals of your project and explain why you want to learn about this topic.
3. How challenging will this project be for you? Explain.
4. Do you anticipate any problems you may encounter while completing this project? Describe how you might find solutions to those problems.
5. Will completion of this project benefit any career interest areas you have? If so, explain.
6. Describe your vision for the final result of your culminating project (skills learned, event planned, product produced, etc.). What visuals will you use for the presentation of your project?
7. List specific costs and resources needed for the completion of the project (facilities, posters, transportation, media sources, etc.).
8. Fundraising – Are you going to be doing any kind of fundraising or receiving monetary donations associated with this project? If yes, explain specifics and fill out the form on the back of this proposal.
9. Will your project require missing any part of a school day? If yes, the student MUST:
Provide documentation showing there is NO other option other than missing school.
Have the pre-arranged absence approved by the Principal and signed by the CSI teacher and
classroom teachers at least 2 weeks in advance.
Show classroom grades are C or higher; no D’s or F’s.
Provide documentation of attendance at the event at the conclusion of the absence.
Identify other students helping with the event; students must meet the same criteria.
