Program Facilitator – Part Time

HOPE is looking for a very dedicated part time staff person who wants to work hands-on with adults who have cognitive disabilities. The work is rewarding and meaningful. HOPE is a fast-paced environment that requires a great attitude, lots of energy, self-initiative, integrity, and creativity.

You will not make a lot of money in this position. It will not support your financial needs on its own and the mid-day hours make it difficult to hold a second job.

We are looking for a dedicated person who wants to join our small, close-knit team to make a personal investment in lives of those who have disabilities for years to come. This is not just another job, it is a calling. Someone perfect for this position would be a stay-at-home parent who wants to be home with their children after school or a retiree who is looking for a significant way to give back to their community.

This is what a former Program Facilitator said about the position:

“Every day I woke up, I was excited to go to work and spend time with the HOPE members and staff. Each member made a positive impact on me in a different way. Their unique abilities slowly crafted me into a better person, changing my perspectives about the disability population. Being at HOPE was a great learning experience that gave me a different outlook on life and people in general. I dearly miss that beautiful community of people and the loving culture that existed among them. They will always be in my heart.”

Pay Range: $8.00-$9.00 an hour

Hours: 5 to 6 hours in a row, between 8:00am and 3:00pm, Monday-Friday, occasional nights and weekends

Vacation: 3 weeks paid vacation (you did read that right, part time vacation pay!)

HOPE employees are highly competent, compassionate, and hard working. HOPE is a very unique place to work with a modern approach to management and personnel matters. We aim to be the nonprofit version of a “Google” work environment where people are happy to come to work and feel empowered. The work is challenging and difficult at times as we continue to raise the bar in providing dynamic and quality programming for people who have disabilities with the ever-present expectation of performing at our best.
