Puppy Contract

This is a contract of sale between______, as BUYER, and Suzanne White/Steve Blair, as BREEDER, of a Louisiana Catahoula Leopard dog

A PUPPY is defined here to be a (Louisiana Catahoula Leopard dog) puppy which is in good health at the time of sale, and embodies the characteristics of the Louisiana Catahoula Leopard Dog breed . This PUPPY is purebred and is registerable (registered) with the National Association of Louisiana Catahoulas) The NALC and the United Kennel Club (UKC).

PAYMENT

$ ______cash, a deposit of $100 is required in advance to hold pick and puppy, the sum of which is hereby acknowledged.

GUARANTEE

If the BUYERS elect to keep the puppy and seek medical treatment for the disease, the BREEDER will pay the cost of the medical expenses for the genetic disease up to the full purchase price of the puppy.

The BREEDER guarantees the above described dog to be healthy at the time of the sale.

The BREEDER does not assume any liability for any injury to said puppy after delivery.

The BUYER agrees to have this puppy examined by a veterinarian within 72 hours of delivery.

This Louisiana Catahoula Leopard dog is guaranteed to be free of genetic disease for 1 year. In the event of genetic disease, replacement or refund shall be made upon return of the above puppy to the BREEDER. If the puppy is found to be other than healthy by the BUYER'S veterinarian, it shall be returned to the BREEDER immediately, and the purchase price will be refunded. If the BUYERS elect to keep the puppy and seek medical treatment for the disease, the BREEDER will pay the cost of the medical expenses for the genetic disease up to the full purchase price of the puppy.

All appropriate shots for the PUPPY'S age have been given, and a record of this vaccination history is supplied.

The BUYER agrees to maintain the puppy's health in good condition, and to provide yearly examinations, vaccinations, heartworm test, and any other usual procedures necessary to assure good heal

If at any time or for any reason, the BUYER is unable to care for the above puppy, Tumbling Run Catahoula’s requests that the puppy/dog be returned for placement.

REGISTRATION

The BREEDER will transfer the official NALC Dog Registration (limited) to the Buyer upon full payment and transport of the puppy. The BUYER is required to send the NALC registration papers direct to the NALC to register the puppy. Failure to do so in the time frames constructed by the NALC may result in being unable to register the puppy. All puppies may also be cross registered with the UKC should the BUYER so desire.
