GENERAL REGULATIONS

1.The Ten-Pro organizesKriek Cup USA byTen-Pro Global Junior Tour (here in aftercalledKC-TP) for the categories U10,U11,U12,U13,U14,U15,U16 in both competition (in exceptional cases also for U9)“Boys and Girls”.

4 MATCHES GUARANTEED FOR EVERY PARTICIPANT*

2. *The Ten-Pro Management guaranteesevery participant 4 matches during the tournamentand 8 matches whenplaying in 2 agecategories (the sameappliesalsoforplayersfromqualifying). However, in case of force majeure such as rainyweather, a walk-over, aninjury or somethingelseunpredictableit is possiblethat we can’tguarantee the minimum of 4 matches per agecategory.

In that case the Ten-Pro Management willtrytheirutmosttoarrangeand plan anotheralternative (practice)match.

NOTE:For registration of participating in twocategories(inyourowncategory plus one EXTRAolderagecategory)you have te send arequesttofor the attention of Goran Novakovic.

3. The KC-TPwillbeplayedfromSunday13thup to and including Saturday19thAugust 2017.

4. The followingagecategories are goingtoplay: born 2008to and including2001in both competition (in exceptional cases also for born 2009) “Boys and Girls”

5. The winners of the semi-finalsplay the A-final. The losers of the semi-finalsplay the B-final. (3rd and 4th places)

6. All matches will be played for 2 won sets, a tie break will be played with the score at 6-6.

By the score 40:40 (deuce)SuddenDeath Pointwilldecideit winner of gem,the recipientchooses the side.

ON-COURT COACHING RULES

7. Provided the followingrulesand procedures are followed, a playermay

requestthat her coach go on-court during a match toprovide coaching.

1. Designation Procedures

a. Both playersmaydesignatean on-court coach,

one (1) coach per player is permitted on court.

b. A playercan change anduse a different coach during a match/tournament.

2. On-Court Coaches

a. On-court coaches are subject to Code of Conduct,including the

provisionsrelatingtoplayer on-court behavior.

b. On-court coaches should dress and present themselves in a professional

manner. They must wearappropriateattire.Tracksuitsandt-shirtswillbepermitted.

Whether a coach is dressedprofessionallyshallbe at the

solediscretion of the Supervisor and Referee andshallnotbe

appealable. If a coach is askedto change andfailsto do so, it

shallresult in his/her on-court coaching privileges beingremoved

forthat match.

c. If On-court coachebehavedaggressively of unacceptable in any way

he/shewillbenotbeallowedtoparticipate in on-court coaching for

the remainder of the Tournament.

d. On-court coaches may converse in theirchosenlanguage.

e. On-court coaches shouldsit in the designated coaching seatsto

allow easy andquick access to the court. The coach must use the

official court entranceto get onto the court andcanunder no circumstances

climb the stands or jump over fences, whichmay

result in his/her on-court coaching privileges beingremoved.

f. On-court coaches shallonlyprovideverbal assistance/adviceduring

the on-court coaching periodand are notpermittedtobring

anyarticles (i.e., food, drinks, equipment, or medicalsupplies) onto

the court toprovidetotheirplayer(s). Notesmaybebroughtonto

the court but maynotbeleftwith the player.

g. On-court coaches must leave the court immediatelyupon the

Supervisor or Chair Umpire announcing “Time”.

h. On-court coaches maynotprovide coaching or communicatewith

a playeroutside of the court.

Coaches are subject to the normal coaching rulesoutside the oncourt

coaching procedures andmaybepenalized in accordance

to the Penalty Point system.

3. On-Court Coaching Requests

a. On-court coaching requests must be made to the Supervisor or Chair Umpire.

b. During a match, a playercanrequest her coach at the following

times:

i. Once per set (at the end of a set).

A set break willcount as part of the set thatjustfinished;*

c. On-court coaching can start fromwhen the coach is calledto

court or when the playerleaves the court, respectively.

ii. On-court coaching maximum time allowed is 120 seconds (two minute)

iii.In case of violation of time Coaches maybepenalized in accordance

to the Penalty Point System. Or mayresult in his/her on-court coaching

privileges beingremoved.

d. For the rest of the match verbal or gesticulated coaching during the match is not permitted and can lead to violation of the rules (PPS: violation of the rules, coaching outside On-Court coaching time).

e.If a playermakesan on-court coaching request without Supervisor or

Chair Umpire (her opponent) asking or taking a change of attire/toilet break,

suchrequestwillcount as her one (1) allowed on-court coaching

requestforthat set, regardless of whether her opponent also

makes a requestfor her coach.

f. During a match, a playercanonly make one (1) of the following

requests at the same time: (i) on-court coaching request; (ii)

requestfor a MTO; or (iii) requestfor a toilet/change of attire break.

REGISTRATION and ACCEPTANCE.

(The Ten-Pro management is authorizedto make all the necessary changes above-mentioned in order tomaintain the tournamentsuccessfuly).

10. Participants are tobe stand by on the dates and the timesmentioned in thesetournamentregulations.

11. Acceptance on the basis of the acceptance criteria of Ten-Pro.

12. Registration fee is $ 140.00 (per category) andshouldbetransferredto Ten-Pro withinone weeks afteracceptance. Afterpaymentyoureceive a finalacceptance of yourplayer.

13. Participants are obligedtopay the registration fee foreach discipline in whichthey are accepted, independent of participation.

14. In case of absence Ten-Pro (+ 31 6 2211 8857) shouldbeinformed as soon as possible.

15. Standbiesforallagecategoriescanbecalled up until the draw for the KC-TP. Standbies are called up on the basis of Ten-Pro tournamentregulations.

SEEDING, DRAW and START.

16. Seeding takes placebefore the start of the matches of KC-TPwith in the Ten-Pro’s technicalstaff’sresponsibility.

17. The draw foreachagecategory is at the latest on the day prior to the first day of playfor the agecategoryconcerned.

18. The result of the draw, the scheduledstartingtimes of the first roundand the scheme of whoplays on which court are published on

19. Prior to the first match the participant doesn’t get a writtennotice, a noticebytelephone or a noticeby e-mail. The participant is informedaboutfurther matches during the tournament. The participant has to report at the desk to get the necessary information.

20. The openings ceremony will take place on Saturday the 12th Augustat 18.00o’clock at Johan Kriek Tennis Academyat PGA National Resort & Spa. We ask all players, parents and coaches to be present at the ceremony.

21. For eachday of the match those in charge of the tournamentdrawupan order of play. Participantsthemselves are responsiblefor the progress of the matches and have to report tothose in charge, ready toplay as soon as the courts allottedtothem are free. ‘Ready toplay’ means: allpreparationsshouldthenbe made and the participantsshouldbeableto start the matches immediately.

22. A participant has to report at the desk immediatelyafterhavingarrived at the tennis courts andthisshouldbedone at least 60 minutes before the start of the match.

23. Participants are obligedto hand over theirpassports or id-cards to the management of the tournament prior toplay in gtheir first matches, whenthey are askedto do so. Participantswho check in too late are disqualified, unless the management decidesotherwise.

24. The matches start at 8.00 a.m.everyday. The last matches of the day start or continue no later than8.00 p.m.

25. Should a participant notbe ready toplay 10 minutes afterbeingcalled up by the management or should he/shenotbe ready toplaywhen the, as per order of play,allotted court is free, the match is won by the opponent. In exceptional cases, the management coulddeviatefromthisparticularregulationandcouldallow the match in question tobeplayed.

26. Participants are obligedto start playing the match at the by the management appointed time, even ifthere is no supervisor/umpire. The supervisor/umpirewillbeappointedby the head-umpire or by the management.

27. Possiblealterations in the order of play, the days of the matches or the playingtimesduring the KC-TP, canbe found on

28. Every participant himself is responsibleforbeinginformedabout the order of play, the days of the matches and the playingtimes.

PHYSICAL AND LEGAL CONDITION.

29. Ten-Pro specifically remind you that it is the responsibility of the participant to ensure that they are fit and healthy. You can only play if you are in a good state of health.

Each player individually is responsible for their own insurance during the tournament.

Ten-Pro Global Junior Tour as the organizer can not be held responsible in any case!

Playersthemselves are totallyresponsiblefororganizing of thistravel, accommodationinsurance , visa’sandallothercostsassociatedwiththistournament.

Ten-Pro is excluded in case of anymisuse of thisabove-mentioned.

30. Tournament will be played on American clay courts.

31. The matches will beplayedwith the Wilson all courts tennis balls. Warming up balls will not be provided by the organisation.

32. The management is authorizedto move a match toanother court, even when the match has alreadystarted.

OTHER REGULATIONS.

34. During the tournament the Penalty Points System is enforced. The regulationsconcerning managerial offencesapply.

The supervisor/umpire is responsiblefor the implementation of the “PPS’. Besides, he reproves the participant who breaks the rules of the game.

35. The KC-TPwillholdparticipantsresponsibleforalldamage (e.g. fouling or vandalizing) to the facilitiescausedby the participants.

36. Bysubmitting the entry form the participant indicatesthat he has taken notice of these generaltournamentregulations of the KC-TP,andthattheyallhave been acceptedunconditionally.

37. In cases notcoveredby these generaltournamentregulations, the tournament management make a decisionafter consulting andwith the approval of Ten-Pro.

38. Where in these regulations the he-form is used, the she-form is alsomeant, unless the purpose of the clause shouldsuggestotherwise.

39. The registration deadline is August03rd 2017at 14.00. 50%refunds are available prior toJune 15st2017. Afterthis date youmaysendanalternateto the event without additional charge. (of course in the samecategoryand at least at the samequality level player - which must undergoselection of Ten-Pro) Followingthis date, no refundswillbegiven. 41. Registering for the tournament gives Ten-Pro the permission to make free use of photos and

film of all tournament players (Social Media and the Ten-Pro Website)
