SELLER’S CONTRACT FOR SHOW QUALITY DOG
THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this ______day of ______, 20____, between the following prospective buyer(s) (hereinafter “BUYER”), andChris Cole, 388 Cole Rd. Kinder La 70648(hereinafter “seller”), relates to the following dog, and under the following terms and conditions. Buyer agrees the Dog in this contract is being purchased as an AKC full registration show dog.

(H)Transfer of dog and full registration papers will not be given until dog is paid in full.
(I)NAME : The BUYER may choose any “CALL NAME” that he chooses; but the registered AKC, first name, will start with the Litter Letter which Vom Konigshimmel Rottweilers has specified.
(J)KENNEL NAME: The said dog must carry the Vom Konigshimmel kennel name.
The name on the litter contract must be the same as on this contract and cannot be changed except by Vom konigshimmel Rottweilers.
(K)If the said dog is a male, Seller has option to use said male for breeding, with no stud fees required; but Seller will give the Buyer one (1) one puppy to keep / sell from the litter.
3.REPRESENTATIONS AND WARRANTIES
(A)The subject Dog is to the best of the Seller’s knowledge a show quality puppy. Show quality dogs come with full registration papers. If the dog is disqualified from any show club in the United States, a replacement puppy will be offered from the next available litter. No money is offered in whole or part.
(B)Seller represents that as of the date of this agreement, the subject Dog, is to the best of the
Seller’s knowledge, healthy and free of communicable diseases.
(1)Buyer shall have seven (7) working/business days, from the date of this contract, in which to
have the Dog examined by a veterinarian. If the said dog has a communicable disease, the Seller
offers to pay up to 100.00 of the veterinary bill. If the said dog has Parvovirus within 3 days of the
date of sale, the Buyer can return the puppy and get a full refund.
(C)The subject Dog, is of the Seller’s knowledge, free of hereditary diseases. Seller offers a
hereditary warranty until 2 years of age. We warranty all the required tests offered by OFA that relate to the Rottweiler breed. The warranty includes: hip dysplasia, elbow dysplasia, cardiac (SAS) disease, eye disease, thyroid, and patellar. If the dog is not tested by the age of 2 years, the warranty is void.
(1)If the dog has any diseases noted in section 5B by the age of 2 years, the seller requests a written letter of the type of disease from the licensed veterinarian, and a copy of the veterinarian’s evaluation and bill. Upon verification that the dog was checked or tested by a licensed veterinarian, and did fail the OFA certifications guidelines, Buyer shall keep the dog purchased and is given another puppy of the same sex. No money is refunded in whole or part.
4.REPUTABLE BREEDER INFORMATION
(A)A show quality dog needs lots of socialization. Some judges touch the mouth, body, tail, testicles, and head. It is the Buyer’s responsibility to train the dog to tolerate being handled.
(B)A show quality dog should not be bred before two (2) years of age. The dog should have OFA prelim hip and elbows checked at one (1) year of age. OFA hips and elbows certified at two (2) years of age. Eye, cardiac, patellar, thyroid should be tested at two (2) years of age.
5.SHIPPING
(A)Shipping “said dog” in the USA (except Hawaii) fees are as follows: Plane fare, Crate, Health Certificate is to be paid by the BUYER. Air fare, crate, and health certificate is subject to change at any time due to store costs, veterinarian increases, and fuel costs.
(1)Hawaii has a quarantine and extra vaccinations, tests, and fees required are paid by the BUYER. The average quarantine is 8-10 months. The BUYER’S puppy is usually 10 months old before the puppy arrives in Hawaii.
(B)Exporting “said dog” incurs extra fees. I use a pet shipping company called IPATA.

6.BUYER’S RESPONSIBILITIES
(A)Buyer agrees that the Dog (male / female) is being purchased with full AKC unlimited registration.
(B)If Buyer is unable or unwilling to keep the Dog forany reason, Buyer shall notify Seller, and the Dog shall be returned to seller if the dog cannot be re-homed. If the dog is re-homed the buyer must send written notice of the new owner’s name, address, phone, and vet information. The Dog shall never be given to any SPCA, shelter, Dog pound, or animal shelter of any kind.
7.RECOMMENDATIONS FOR CARE AND TREATMENT OF DOG
Buyer agrees to keep the Dog in good health and proper weight and fitness, and to provide annual veterinary examinations, current vaccinations, teeth cleaning, and worming, proper feeding and housing, controlling the Dog’s lead when off the premises and to avoid loss by theft, running away or otherwise, and to give prompt attention to the physical welfare of the Dog.
(a)When outside, the Dog shall not be kept on a chain, cable or tie out.
(b)Spike or pinch collars shall be used properly, Dog should receive obedience training by a certified trainer, socialized regularly, nails trimmed short, heartworm test and heartworm preventative, flea and tick preventative, and clean water.
(c)Dog will receive all vaccines, included but not limited to; Distemper, Measles, Hepatitis, Letpospirosis, Parainfluenza, Bordetella, Canine Provovirus, Rabies, and Coronavirus when due. If required in the State or County. Do not over vaccinate. Each State and County are different.
(d)Dog should be fed premium Dog food, such as “Blue Buffalo” or equivalent food, but to keep our warranty we require the “said dog” to be fed a Model Raw Prey diet / Raw natural diet. Supplements are not the same. NO EXCEPTIONS.
Note: Research has proven that 75% of animal diseases and improper bone growth can be attributed to dietary deficiencies; a good diet must provide a correct balance of protein, calcium, fats, vitamins, trace minerals, carbohydrates.
8.BREACH – TERMINATION
This Agreement is limited to the Seller and Buyer and shall not be transferable to another party, except in the case of death of either Seller or Buyer. In such event, their respective heirs, executors or administrators may succeed their interests.
If Dog is returned, and the Dog is deathly sick, neglected, emaciated, showing evidence of severe dog fight, large wounds, or anything my veterinarian would consider neglect, because of the failure of the Buyer to take care of the Dog. The Dog, The WILL NOT be returned. The Dog will be found another home by Seller.
