The Murray Reesor Farm

Over the years, Murray Reesor has created a spectacular display of gardens around his property that attracts busloads of admirers from all over Ontario.Murray has grown accustomed to welcoming visitors daily to his farm to enjoy his horticultural skills. Often they will come by bus to linger, enjoy the grounds, and take pictures. A guest book is provided to record the visit and express appreciation for the gardens and the “down home” hospitality.

Murrayraises chickens and grows crops on his farm and, with the help of his brother Bernard, creates amagnificentdisplay of plants and flowers worth traveling miles to see.The highlight of our Church summer is making the two and a half hour tripfor a picnic at the Reesor farm estate. The Reesorshave been long-time members of theChristian Church in Stouffville. Another favorite spot to visit is the family-run summer sausage plant across the street.

Last summer we shared our picnic with the CECF family. You can see pictures of us on year we are adding a hayride around the farm for your enjoyment! We hope you will join us.
