MINUTES:
1) Reviewed the bullying survey and discussed the invalidity of the questions.
2) Decided that the Discipline Committee will modify the survey and redistribute it to the student body.
3) Discussed the high frequency of Office Discipline Referrals that have been submitted in the months of September and October.
4) Decided that the Discipline Committee will meet with Mr. Leite and Mr. Fields to desegregate the incidents into categories and frequencies.
5) Discussed that the behavioral issues are interrupting classroom instruction.
6) Viewed the results from the parent survey that was distributed at Back to School Night in September.
7) Discussed that another survey will be distributed at the Spring Open House.
8) Discussed that only 21 staff members responded to the Needs Assessment and that the data received will not provide an accurate reflection of the areas that were addressed.
9) It was decided that despite the low participation levels in response to the Needs Assessment that the data would still be desegregated and compared to the results of the post survey that will be distributed at the end of the year.
10) Reviewed the results of the CAPA visit and discussed the areas of needed improvement.
