As the subject association for physical education we provide quality assured services and resources, and valuable professional support for all Physical Education, School Sport and Physical Activityprofessionalsincluding Local Authority PE Advisers, Lecturers, Consultants, Teachers, Coaches and Adults Supporting Learning.
Our Business Associate Membership places businesses at the centre of our sector through exclusive access to afPE experts, partner logo, networking and exhibition opportunities, opportunities to access reduced price professional learning.
afPE's Business Associate Membership is designed to:
Recognise high quality providers who support PE, School Sportand Physical Activity professionals to achieve the best outcomes for young people
Work in partnership with afPE in a variety of activities to achieve the above outcome
Promote providers who are Business Associates to the PE, School Sport and Physical Activity profession
Use the logo as a recognition of professional commitment to high standards, integrity and reassure colleagues that this is a business they can trust to deliver for children and young people
Our members vary on how they utilise their membershipbenefits. Some embark on extended opportunities of engagement and develop enhanced bespoke initiatives through our partnership tiers; others redeem their standard benefit schedule to maximum effect. Business membership is essentially a privilegeservice with benefits that can be utilised to maximise your presence within the PE, School Sport and Physical Activity network. By applying to become a BA you are committed to adhering to high professional standards that afPE expects of its BA members. If accepted as a BA and you are found to be in breech of the membership standards outlined in the articles, then your BA status could be terminated
The annual fee for Business Associate Member is £360plus VAT.
Please be aware that:
1. Applicants must not be in conflict with afPE’s primary business
2. They must conform to afPE’s ethical principles and policies
3. Organisations must not replace or displace teachers in the curriculum
4. Organisations must avoid delivering curriculum PE in PPA time or expect schools to use the primary PE and Sport Premium funding to pay for their services
5. When working with teachers the focus should be on sustainability and up-skilling teachers’ knowledge and understanding to ensure sustainability
6. afPE has the right to refuse an application
