GOUROCK MIXED OPEN GREENSOME 2017

With13different golf clubs represented at the Gourock Mixed Open Competition, 96players competed for the Rice Trophy on Sunday 13th August 2017, and were fortunate to have such a perfect day, with a refreshing breeze and lots of sunshine, a vast improvement in the weather of the previous week. Views, as ever at Gourock, were splendid, and added to the enjoyment of the competition, for visitors and home players alike. Hugh Logue and his team of Greenkeepers are to be congratulated for the conditions out on the course, despite the disappointing weather in July, and grateful thanks are extended to Adrian, Stephen and the Kitchen & Bar Staff, for keeping the players “fed and watered” so professionally throughout the day.
