Monday 7/17

Eph. 3:9-11

9And to enlighten all that they may see what the economy of the mystery is, which throughout the ages has been hidden in God, who created all things,

10In order that now to the rulers and the authorities in the heavenlies the multifarious wisdom of God might be made known through the church,

11According to the eternal purpose which He made in Christ Jesus our Lord,

Gen. 1:26-27

26And God said, Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of heaven and over the cattle and over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps upon the earth.

27And God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.

Eph. 1:9, 11, 22-23

9Making known to us the mystery of His will according to His good pleasure, which He purposed in Himself,

11In whom also we were designated as an inheritance, having been predestinated according to the purpose of the One who works all things according to the counsel of His will,

22And He subjected all things under His feet and gave Him to be Head over all things to the church,

23Which is His Body, the fullness of the One who fills all in all.

2For the law of the Spirit of life has freed me in Christ Jesus from the law of sin and of death.

3For that which the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God, sending His own Son in the likeness of the flesh of sin and concerning sin, condemned sin in the flesh,

4That the righteous requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us, who do not walk according to the flesh but according to the spirit.

5For those who are according to the flesh mind the things of the flesh; but those who are according to the spirit, the things of the Spirit.

6For the mind set on the flesh is death, but the mind set on the spirit is life and peace.

7Because the mind set on the flesh is enmity against God; for it is not subject to the law of God, for neither can it be.

8And those who are in the flesh cannot please God.

9But you are not in the flesh, but in the spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. Yet if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he is not of Him.

10But if Christ is in you, though the body is dead because of sin, the spirit is life because of righteousness.

11And if the Spirit of the One who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who indwells you.
