Attendance/ Roll call

1)(Chuck) Sponsers fees were DUE 7/1 and are past due – Approx. 40 teams not paid – GET THEM IN

2)Rosters - due 8/4 – Dart office will be open 9 to 6

Completed rosters are required and must include ACTUAL names, addresses, and phone numbers of players. NO BAR addresses or phone numbers will be accepted for players. Players using bar info as their own will not be considered eligible. They must also be filled out neatly

3)Dates

  1. Start – Sept 9th, if we can get all the sponser fees, rosters and membership fees in timely.
  2. Contact the dart office after 9/1 for packet pick up and starting date. The voicemail will provide this information. 330-783-DART
  3. No darts on following holidays 11/25 , 12/23, 12/30 and 3/17/11.
  4. Charity Open will be last weekend in February at Metroplex. 2/23-2/27. Setup is 2/23, YDA only on 2/24, and tear down 2/27. No league play 2/24/11.
  5. Sponser site inspections will begin as soon as 7/28/10 – get the sponser fees in! Locations that have not passed inspection will not be eligible for league play until they have been approved and stickered as so.

4)(Jodi / Ryan) – Rising cost of postage we encourage you to sign up to receive updates via email / website only. Our goal is to have the results updated and sent via email by the Tuesday evening following darts. Need your help by turning results in timely.

5)New Business : 3 proposals to amend the Rules and Bylaws of the Youngstown Dart Association

  1. Any person wishing to run for President of the YDA must first serve as an Officer of the Executive Board for a minimum of 1 year.
  2. The Youngstown Dart Association cannot delegate the enforcement of Local, State, or Federal laws or regulations to any tavern owner. It is up to the management of the tavern.
  3. The Youngstown Dart Association is open to promote the sport of darts and will permit youth participation If the youth is over 15 years of age and is always accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. If the establishment’s ownership / management does not permit a team to play because of the youth, the match will be postponed and rescheduled at a neutral site.
