Rate: For occasional functions, at which music is used in any manner other than background, the following royalty rates shall be applied.
When music is used exclusively as the main event: -
*8% of admission and gate receipts or expenditure on musicians, or (if not ascertainable)
*$31.00 for the first 100 persons capacity or per 400 square feet of venue and for each
25 persons capacity or 100 square feet thereafter, *$ 7.75.
Where music is important but not the sole entertainment the charge will be:
*6% of admission receipts or, (if not ascertainable)
*$24.00 for the first 100 persons capacity or per 400 square feet of venue and *$ 6.00 for each
25 persons capacity or 100 square feet thereafter.
Please Note: All rates per single event are subject to a minimum charge of *Four Hundred Dollars ($400.00).
*All rates are subject to a 50% reduction when application for permit reaches us 14 days before commencement of show

TERMS & CONDITIONS
1.Not less than 14 days prior to the date of the entertainment, the promoter thereof, or other person authorised by ECCO to give the performance, shall –
(a)Furnish ECCO with a statement giving the maximum number of persons that can be accommodated at the entertainment and the number of admission tickets printed and the admission price(s) to the entertainment.
(b)Pay royalties calculated at 50% of the estimated gross receipts from admissions based on the details required, under the sub paragraph above.
(c)Enter into a signed undertaking with ECCO that before the conclusion of the entertainment the applicant shall pay the balance due (in cash) based on actual gross box office receipts.
2.All tickets (and or stubs) must be deposited in the official ECCO box, which will be provided by the Society, positioned at the designated entrance of the venue and will be verified by Promoter & ECCO representative at the end of the event.
PAYMENTS
3.50% of the Estimated Gross Receipts or Expenditure on Musicians.
