Students will analyze why some Native Americans in Central America were willing to form alliances with Cortes in his conquest of the Aztecs in Mexico. In their analysis, they are to note several reasons; stated or implied why many Native Americans supported Cortes in his efforts to destroy the Aztec empire. / Investigation:
