Chronic Pain
It is all different types of massage tailored to each individual’s situation. The pressure will range from light pressure to deep depending on the type of problem or area where you have chronic pain.
Craniosacral Therapy
This very light hybrid of massage and energy work focuses on the head and spine. It seeks to relieve congestion of the spinal fluid and provide deep relaxation.
Deep Tissue
This therapy is used to relieve chronic pain & severe tension, target knots and realign deeper layers of muscle and connective tissue.
Fibromyalgia
Massage therapy is beneficial for those with fibromyalgia as it can reduce heart rate, aid in relaxation and help with pain.
Geriatric Massage
This is a very light nurturing massage designed to address the specific needs of the elderly population.
Manual Lymphatic Drainage and Complete Decongestive Therapy
This therapy involves a light pumping action designed to encourage the proper movement of lymph fluid throughout the body. Lymphatic Drainage helps reduce inflammation after surgery and relieve swollen ankles and joints. It also detoxifies the body and boosts the immune system. It is the recommended treatment for lymphedema.
Myofacial Release
By using long, gentle stretching strokes to release muscular tension, this therapy seeks to restore balance in the body by releasing restrictions in the fascia.
Neuromuscular Therapy
Using deep finger pressure on specific points of the body, neuromuscular therapy relieves soft tissue pain and tension providing relief for one’s physiological discomfort.
Pre-Natal
It can relax tense muscles, ease sore spots, and improve circulation and mobility. It is always performed in a side-line position. A doctor’s statement is required for the first massage.
Swedish Massage
Swedish massage is a technique that uses five basic strokes to promote relaxation, improve circulation, and relieve muscle tension.
