Progress report IOP Genomics

Progress report IOP Genomics

Every half year, the coordinating project leader sends out a report on the progress of the whole project to the IOP Genomics Programme Office, the members of the Supervisory Committee and the other project members. This report has to be received by the Programme Office within two months after the end of the fixed report periods (April-September and October-March) and at least two weeks before the Supervisory Committee meeting.

Subjects to be addressed in the progress report:

General information:

  • number of project
  • title of project
  • report period
  • coordinating project leader
  1. Research progress since previous report(1-2 A4 per subproject/researcher)

Describe activities,main results and conclusions

  1. Progress in relation to planning and aims (table)

Indicate for all activities described in the project work plan the status and the involved project partners. Use the time-activity table as originally presented in the project plan.

Example time-activity table

phase / activity / description / start and end date / partners1) / status2)
I / 1 / 1, 2 and 3
2 / 1
II / 1 / 1 and 2
2 / 1 and 3
3 / 2

Exemplify the realised and expected employment of personnel in relation to the original project plan. Have all vacancies been filled and/or are there changes in the employment of researchers?

  1. Progress in the collaboration between the partners (max. ½ A4)

Give a short description on the ongoing collaboration between the partners. Include the following subjects (if relevant): organisation of the project, mutual knowledge transfer, research coordination, mode and frequency of communication, additional national/international collaboration, bottlenecks.

  1. Budget(max. ½ A4)

Give a short explanation on the realised costs in relation to the originally planed budget and explain occurring deviations.

  1. Changes in the project(max. ½ A4)

Indicate results of which potential patentability needsto be discussed in the Supervisory Committee.

  1. Bottlenecks(max. ½ A4)

Describe any bottlenecks occurring in the project and their status (e.g. in research, financial, personnel, collaboration).

  1. Conclusion on feasibility of the project(max. ½ A4)

Based on the course of the project, discuss whether realisation of the project aims is feasible in relation to planning and budget.

  1. Foreign internships(max. ¼ A4)

Give a short description of foreign internships that have taken place during the report period.
