Regular Council Meeting Minutes
December 19, 2012
The meeting was called to order by Mayor Bousley at 6:00 p.m. Present: Mayor Bousley, Aldermen Lantagne, Shampo, Unrein and Kuchinski. Excused: Alderman Schaut. Also present: Public Works Coordinator Rugg, City Clerk Wierschke and Police Chief Lamoreaux, Dan Segerstron and Paul Zellner with WisDOT and Jeff Shoquist and Steve Freeberg with Coleman Engineering.
A motion was made by Alderman and seconded by Alderman to approve the agenda. Motion carried.
A motion was made by Alderman Kuchinski and seconded by Alderman Lantagne to approve the minutes of the Regular City Council Meeting on 11-28-12 and the Special Council Meeting on 12-12-12. Motion carried.
A motion was made by Alderman Moreau and seconded by Alderman Lantagne to approve the monthly bills as presented. Motion carried.
The Council reviewed the monthly reports as submitted. A motion was made by Alderman Unrein and seconded by Alderman Shampo to approve the reports as submitted. Motion carried.
Dan Segerstron and Paul Zellner with WisDOT spoke to the City Council regarding future highway projects.
A motion was made by Alderman Unrein and seconded by Alderman Kuchinski to sign the agreement with Great American Disposal to begin recycling pick-up the first week of January and continue pick-up every other week. Motion carried.
A motion was made by Alderman Moreau and seconded by Alderman Shampo to approve using the unused/carry-over levy of $3,755 for the 2012 tax levy. Motion carried.
A motion was made by Alderman Moreau and seconded by Alderman Lantagne to approve Kathy Kallenbach, Ginger Sweig, Sandy Broullire, Elaine Martin, Tanya Payette, Cindy Lawrence, Cheri Sweig, Ellen Venstra, Barbara Ermi, Lysle Rugg, Barb Beauchamp and Claire Berry as Election/Poll Workers for 2013-2014. Motion carried.
A motion was made by Alderman Kuchinski and seconded by Alderman Unrein to hold the next Council Meeting on January 23, 2013 at 6:00 p.m. Motion carried.
There being no further business, a motion was made by Alderman Moreau and seconded by Alderman Kuchinski to adjourn. Motion carried. Meeting adjourned at 6:58 p.m.
