Guidelines:

•You will work in groups of 3 (maximum)

•The group should decide upon a choice board option

oRegardless of the chosen option, each group should explain/discuss the following in their piece:

  • What is a prokaryotic cell?
  • What is a eukaryotic cell? (compare with a prokaryotic cell)
  • What is the function of the

cell membrane, cell wall, cytoplasm, vacuole, ribosome, golgi body, rough and smooth ER, chloroplast, mitochondria, lysosomes, microtubules, and the nucleus

What are some examples

prokaryotic, plant, and animal cells? (Example: E. coli, onion cells, nerve cell, etc…)
