Leopard’s Partners Club Officer Position Elections:
President Responsibilities:
Develop meeting agendas-include “unfinished business” and “new business”. Each should be reviewed with the advisor well before the meeting.
Attend all club meetings
Lead and represent the club in social events, sporting events, and recreational events in the school or community.
Maintain communication with club advisors.
Maintain a strong membership level.
Secretary Responsibilities:
Maintain all records. Take notes during each meeting, write down everything that was discussed.
Be prompt, organized, and efficient.
Record minutes of each meeting and who attended each meeting.
Names and address of all Partner’s Club officers.
Work with/ assist club president.
Treasurer Responsibilities:
Control clubs money
Maintain accurate financial records throughout the year to be reviewed by advisor at any time. Record all income.
Remind members of unpaid dues/ report to advisor paid dues.
Work with/ assist club president
Athlete Advisor(s):
Work with all athletes’ closely - pay attention to strengths/areas for improvement. Be ready to discuss with advisor at all times.
Responsible for representing athletes at all district activities (specifically sports related activities)
Assist athletes in improving sports related skills.
Helps athletes develop short-long term goals.
BVAHS Friends First Club OfficerApplication
All Partner’s Club members who are in good standing are eligible to be anofficer of the club. Below are the expectations:
- Officers will attend meetings regularly unless previously discussed with the advisor.
- Officers will act as ambassadors of the Partner’s Club.
- Officers will participate in social and service activities as well as fundraising and they will encourage participation by other members.
- Officers will help plan, organize, prepare, and promote club events.
- Officers will be responsible for their specific job requirements.
- Officers will remain a member in good standing throughout the school year..
