The Oral History Association encourages applications from a diverse group of people who might contribute to the association’s annual meeting. 1. Explain your financial need. Be sure to include the amount of funding you are requesting in a detailed budget. Narrative responses should be no more than 300 words. Note that funds may be used only for workshops, conference meals, and travel-related expenses including hotel, meals, and transportation. The OHA will waive registration fees for successful applicants. Requests cannot exceed $500.

2. State the benefits to your community or group which will result from your attending the Oral History Association Annual Meeting. (Please respond as fully as possible; responses should be no more than 300 words.)

Scholarship recipients will be asked to submit a one-page report by November 30, 2015. This report should discuss the ways that attending the conference was beneficial for the recipient and, if applicable, members of the recipients community (students, classmates, colleagues, etc.)
