We are collecting cans for the canned food drive from now until Tuesday 11/15. Any donations are appreciated!
Parent volunteers are needed to help work our booths at the Fall Festival (Thursday 11/10) for two shifts: 9:00-10:45 and 11:15-1:00. Please let your child’s homeroom teacher know if you are available to help and what shift you will be able to help us with. Thanks in advance!
REMINDER:
Folders will be coming home today with conduct cards and important information. Sign the conduct card. Return it tomorrow. Turning these in on time counts towards your child’s work study grade.

DAILY, ONGOING HOMEWORK:
-Study daily notes (math, science, vocabulary and social studies)
-Students need to practice cursive writing

-Read AR books, 30 minutes per night
THIS WEEK’S OBJECTIVES:
Math: Adding Mixed Numbers
Science:Spheres of the Earth, Layers of the Atmosphere, and the Water Cycle
** Students should be studying science notes daily.
** Science project information was sent home Monday (10/31)
Social Studies: Triangular Trade
Writing: Narrative Writing
Reading: Bridge to Terabithia; Comparing and Contrasting Point of View in Informational Texts
Language Arts: Using reference materials to find meaning and spelling of words
PARENTS—PLEASE READ OVER THE UNIFORM POLICY! The only shirts from last year to be worn are the dark green t-shirts…no Field Day, PACE, etc. SOLID JACKETS/SWEATERS.
